 Hi guys!

I’Ve got an ‘05 Sierra as well as an ‘05 Tahoe. I made this video of the Flowmaster in the Sierra and plan to mod the Tahoe the same way.

I made this video of the Sierra thinking it may help some guys decide which muffler they’d like to go with. Let me know what you guys think.

I just changed to the Super 10 from the 40 series and once again I'm super disappointed. They advertise the 10 series to be " they're so loud you might get pulled" but in reality its only a little louder than factory. That being said, the deep sound is exactly what you expect out of a flowmaster. My truck is a 2010 with the 5.3 and I got the single in single out on the 40 series and the 10 series to keep it a pretty much factory install. At this point ive spent 160 on the mufflers and 250 on the installs and I'm not happy at all. should have just taken the sawzall and gone to auto zone and put in the straight pipe with clamps. The good - they do give you the deep tone and on my truck there is no drone at all which I'm sure has something to do with the 3.08 gearing (low rpm all the time).

Sounds like you like it real loud.  Straight pipes or cut-outs.  I have cut-outs on a '12 corvette but gets kind of raspy with no muffler.  Some days I love it and sometimes not.  I have videos of that as well on my channel.

If you read their site about the 10 they say we can't recommend them for street use which to me says they're super loud. It was just disappointing. It sounds a little better to me today but it was a bad day so I may have been running it harder than I should.

I would think it would be loud if it was on a vehicle without CATS.  But for most the CATS seem to quiet things down enough where most just go with a straight pipe in place of the muffler.

96 onward needs laminar.. no need for float shakers anymore.

carb days overhead on the 40s and 10s..why is there so many.

just my 2 cents.

flowmaster suv50 or bigger.

quit treating these LS gems like an old solid lifter'd snappy twacker cam with 30 inches of vacuum. :)

engine is an air pump, not a snare drum.

I did a lot of looking on YouTube and they sounded loud. Guess it was misleading and none said they had removed the cats. I'll leave it for now though

I’m really surprised about the 10. It should be 1 step away from a straight pipe.

Did you put 10's on it?

I have 40's on mine and it sounds great. A little too loud for me during wide open throttle, but other than that... still sounds really great!

I switched over from the 40 to the 10 because the 40 wasn't loud enough for me. the 10 may be a little deeper but as far as being loud its not. flowmasters site makes you think its so loud you'll get pulled over but on my truck it sounds good while accelerating normally but then it quiets on down. the harder you push it the quieter it actually gets. it sounds the best accelerating normally
