I got one for ya.  I have to admit that I have not read this entire thread, so if it's already been suggested, I apologize.  My 08 caddy CTS had rain sense wipers that were fantastic.  I see it's still available on some Cadillac models.  It would be great if it could be added to a K2 truck.  Although, I don't believe even a Denali has it.  Escalade might have it.

but seriously  can you disable the auto door locks function as I start to pull away, or when i park and get out, and find my other doors are locked, its very annoying!!

how about the fog light activates at night when the steering wheel turns at low speeds, i.e, dark driveway turn wheel to the right , activates the right fog lamp, I seen this on the Escalade last night in a parking lot.

You can turn "Auto Door Locks" on or off in the Vehicle Settings menu.  You can also change which doors unlock when you open the driver's door.  Check you Owners Manual for info.

I want a bypass switch of some sort that won't allow my truck to put the automatic lights into night mode unless I enable it. So the DRL will still work and my cluster/screen won't go dim.

2019+ Multipro tailgate on 2014 - 2018 trucks.

I know GM widened the beds on new gen but it may be the same width as our trucks at the tailgate?

Guess I can take a tape measure to my local dealer and check width.

If GM offered a multipro for our gen, I’d buy one. But that will never happen because they want you to buy a new truck ;-)

I have a suggestion.  How about making an adapter harness for those of us that want towing mirrors on our 2019 Silverado/Sierra's that the 2020 model mirrors come out with.  GM really messed up on this one.  They will bolt up to our 2019's but will not function due to the harness being different.  My question is why is it different?  The physical condition of the mirror I can see but why would the harness change?  Doesn't make an sense.

Send me a PM on this. I’m working on a small handful of beta testers for this upgrade gathering details for the T1XX gen trucks, wanting to upgrade mirrors. The reason the factory harness wont work is because the lighting circuits are different. If interested in working with me on this, let me know. I offer deep discounts on a harness build in exchange for data :)

I got 2 ideas

how to keep DRL on when turn signals are being used

how to add a switch in the bed to turn on bed lights from rear instead of inside truck

+1 on this idea. Good one, Joer.

This would be a good one. I have the switch in the cab for the bed light also turn on reverse lights by doing the diode mod. I would love a switch in the bed I could use to turn on all those lights and not have them time out after 30 seconds.

I added a switch to my Canyon a couple of years ago and just did this to my new Silverado last week.  The switch in the bed only controls the bed lights, not the cargo lights.  For me, this is actually preferred since I have a tonneau and don't have much need for the cargo light when I am looking in my bed.  My truck came with the factory bed lights, so wiring in a switch was extremely simple.  I am waiting for the weather to clear up (and cool down) and I'll get some pictures of my setup and do a write-up to share as I haven't seen any other how-to's for this.  This is by far my favorite mod for a truck.

Edit: forgot to mention, that this mod will still allow the in-cab switch to work in conjunction with the bed switch.  The switch I used allows for a dual power source so you maintain factory functionality and gain the ability to turn on the bed lights in the bed.

Just saw the new video put out by Phil. Pretty cool stuff. Only thing I thing could be added is a function to keep the truck running with key removed. Just so keys can be taken and the truck can remain running without turning it off. I like the window up option and will be excited once the auto window function mentioned in the video gets debuted.

Also so what gives on going back to the Silverado cluster? Sorry if answered elsewhere.

My Denali cluster is with WAMS in an effort to integrate Factory Trailer Brakes.

As to your question, you can’t have the truck running without the key (unless you remote start). So you can remote start (twice) for up to 40 minutes of Run time.

Like a turbo timer? Just wondering what you are trying to achieve with keeping it running after removing the key.
