My 2015 Silverado 2500 radio has stopped working. Seems to not get signal from ignition when to activate. Back up camera works fine. Radio will suddenly turn on sometimes or if CD is pushed in or fuze is pulled and reset. No bluetooth connectivity. Any thoughts....Dealership wants $150 to diagnose and $150 to reprogram.

Mine did this as well, screen went black, would play music for 15 minutes with no display the quit. It was the human interface module or something close to those words. You have to take it in as the module requires programming and is synced to your vin/truck as well. Hope that s helps, Ski

Thanls for your reply... I took to dealer and they tried to reprogram unit for 150$. It did not work and I was told I may need a new module for 450$. Currently trying to deal with Chevy customer service. Lowest supplier bid at factory. What a scam! This seems like a pretty easy thing to get right.

Maybe now is the time to upgrade to a 2.5 HMI and radio to get android auto/carplay.
