What Have You Done With Your T1 Today ?????

I’m not sure if it’s an optical illusion, but the front looks higher than the rear. It might be the angles or just the shape of the wheel wells. I like it though.

I think I t’s an illusion. Front is about 1/4” higher, so not noticeable in real life.

Looking to level my 2020 trail boss custom...is the ready lift kit with the control arms necessary or am I good with a procomp leveling kit?

Oh I believed you that it was level. My neighbor lifted & leveled his 2015 Sierra and had the same dilemma. “It measures equal but it looks not level.”

You cant use fender measurement to see if your level as the top of the front and rear fender might have different cut designs to it. The back or front fender might be cut higher or lower then the other from the vehicle design. The flat section of the frame from the side from the back of the front wheel and the front of the back wheel will give you a better measurement. Or you can park on a level surface using a leveler and if that's level then put it on the top of the bed rail and see what you have.

While that is true, I did a before and after in the same location at both wheel wells. My point of reference is consistent. My fronts were 39” before, rears were 41”. Now my fronts are 41.25”, rears are 41”. I did not install the rear blocks, I kept the factory. 2” lift and I gained 2.25”, so the relative measurements were good enough for my purposes because I could compare to the starting point. Hope that helps.

I don’t have any experience with the ProComp level. Personally, I wanted this kit specifically for the new control arms to maintain factory geometry. I wanted my LCA’s and CV’s to be as consistent as possible before and after the lift, and I think the UCA swap made that possible.

Finally took my ordered parts to the dealer and had them paint my door handles, mirror caps, and the radio bezel to break up some of the monotone of the interior. Will get them installed when the rain stops hopefully sometime today.

Transformation Tuesday!

Had the bumpers wrapped, GM black grille kit, white mirror caps, chrome window trim wrapped in gloss black, removed Texas edition badges, and installed black “Duramax” hood emblems. 
 

included a pic from the day I bought it 1 month ago.

Footwell lights for $25 wired to come on with opening the doors

Installed a Swingcase on the passenger side. When it’s in it blocks the light and plug but can easily be removed.

Got some cheap stuff from amazon. $15 net....$7 key hangers for the net and $17 bullet antenna which I didn’t really like since I had to use the 7mm adapter which makes the antenna stick out too much.
