Blue is a great color! I highly recommend it.

Speaking of blue, my saga of getting the scratches out of my blue truck continues. I'm now halfway done. Did the left front door today. Driver's side is almost, then it's on to the passenger side.

For those who have questions, the scratches are a result of offroading and having bushes pinstripe both sides of my truck.

Wife got me a Rampage LED tailgate strip for an anniversary present. Pretty happy with it overall, would like to wire it in at some point instead of having it plugged in.

When your wife buys you truck parts for your anniversary, you KNOW you found the right girl!  Congrats!

My B post trim between the doors was scratched from a bad car wash. When the sun hit the glossy black it drove me crazy. I had them polished and covered in Xpel PPF. look brand new now and should be much more scratch resistant.

Had a few hours to kill so I added some  LED bolt lights behind the grill for some pretty nice marker lights.

lights off

Lights on

lesson learned: Purple w/grey strip wire is parking /marker light power in the headlight plug

I'll never understand why people block out their license plate when I can clearly see it while driving down the road, unless you did something illegal to your vehicle and are trying to hide from the police. It's not a social security card. Therefore, today I'm going to post a picture of my truck without the license plate. That's what I did with my truck today. 54f4485fa7458dedf962907c8ba356fa.jpg

You’ll love it. I have the GM Performance exhaust, which is the same system. Really adds some good feels when driving. Like you said, the exhaust matches the aggressive styling. 😎

My buddy installed it today, and you were correct -  the Borla touring is exactly what I was looking for.  No apparent drone on the highway, no strange sound effects cruising through town going 35 either.  When it's time to get on it,  it doesn't disappoint, delivering a rich full reminder that it's got a pair under the hood.  I think the CAI adds some cabin sound too, and cat-backs amplify that just a tiny bit more.

Glad you like it! It will get even better after a month or so. Mine has settled into a really good sound note. I love mashing the pedal. Put it in Sport mode and it sounds the best.

And yes, the CAI adds some nice growls as well. Especially under a bit of a load. 💪🏼

You know, good point, I never really have it much thought, just saw that most others did so and figured ‘why not?’

Any kind of personal info can be traced back to someone. Including plate numbers.

And a phone number, and a whole bunch of info. Regardless, it's not a driver's license, social security number, etc. It's publicly accessible. The differentiation needs to be made.
