and that Z71 suspension has lot of haters, the TB uses different ranchos that are suppose to be better....Z71 does have 2spd transfer case if you want it but I wouldn't buy Z71 for suspension.....suspension is easy fix


pretty good deal on your truck. my current truck is getting repaired, a tree fell on it and took out the hood, grill, and headlight.. still drove it for 2 weeks after that though, no mechanical issues. i'm in no hurry. interested to see the price changes after tomorrow. should've got an lt z71 back when I bought my truck that I have now. and now you can't get LT with fog lights.. so RST/LT TB it is.

Of course.  A year-old truck is worth less, you should expect to pay less.  Resale value is definitely lower.  Even if you're buying it "new", as soon as you drive it off the lot it's a year older tha

yeah I have fog lights though rarely use them, I regret not getting bucket seats (I miss not having console)

 

I will never buy another truck without heated seats/wheel, amazing

 

Z71 TB uses different rancho setup than other Z71 pkgs. but shocks are an easy fix on any truck....I wouldn't let that be a factor especially if I could save more than it would cost to replace....

 

I wanted LT TB but didn't want to pay crazy MSRP they go for, so ill make my own with my RST....

my current rental is a little Nissan Altima, and it has heated seats and steering wheel. great so far in this west virginia winter. if I got a trail boss, it'd be solid black. not a fan of the 2-color look.. but to each, their own.

prices have went up since the 'sale' ended on the 3rd. now $1000 more on most vehicles, that's the auto show discount removed.

Ugh, we don’t care for leather, i was gonna get a red Trailboss if they could find one with cloth buckets, we are gms, so the price is pretty set, the truck we want gms & rebates $40,454 final price, stickered at $52,100, dealer comes back and say we have that loaded red one here, it had hail damage but has been fully fixed, sticker is $57,400, they offered it at same price, but it has leather and the leaky window, SOAB

Rebates on silverados in midwest are exactly same as last month becuase of gms earnings reports

2020 Silverado Custom in Northsky Blue Metallic, 2WD and 2.7 L, towing and "protection package" for 32k OTD after TTL

 

Was something like 9,750 in rebates and a bit of haggling. Sticker was something like 40,3xx IIRC

In Utah I can tell you it seems like GMCs are priced better than Chevys

What was the price before Tax, Title, dealer fees etc. Post that so others can get a better idea on the deal. Someone who buys a car in MT with no state sales tax in theory should be able to get a lower OTD price as opposed to someone in NV where their tax is like 8% or something.

      The engine was done as part of the 6.2 recall?   You'd have to see if your VIN also has the 6.2 engine special coverage on it.  Coverage number is N252494003.  If you have this, your engine is covered under this and NOT the GM replacement part engine warranty which is 3yr/100k from the date of install.  The 3yr/100k mi warranty is in effect for non warranty purchases.     This is not any different if it was replaced under warranty without a recall or special coverage.  So if you had a 5.3 and it popped at 3 years in at 50,000mi during the 5yr/60k powertrain, the replacement engine would not get the 3yr/100k, and instead gets the remainder of the 5yr/60k as coverage.     So N252494003 gives 10 years or 150,000mi of coverage, which ever comes first, starting at the vehicle in service date.  So if your in service date is 01/01/2022, N252494003 gives you special coverage of the engine until 01/01/2032 or 150,000mi, whichever comes first.  So if your start date was 01/01/2022, you'd have left 5 years and 4 months (lets round to august 1st), or 62,000mi left of coverage.   So you need to know your in service date to know how much coverage is left.

      Okiee dokie there bud, way to take things to the extreme.   I guess you missed the whole point and take things way to serious. I installed different EV6 style injectors that just so happen to be larger in my car running the same LQ4 engine and with a better spray pattern than the stock style injectors and I noticed no difference in the idle quality. Kinda was my round about way of saying that even if you put the same size but better style injectors in your truck, you will likely see the same thing.    I'm sure you're great to have conversations with in person if that's how you act through a keyboard. One little things sets you off and now I guess my dick is all up in your face.

      I can't believe that could possibly be the case. It should be 36mo/100k miles from installation. Then again, it also seems like since a dealership installed it, it'd all be in the system and you wouldn't need to worry about registering, either. Shows you what I know. 😄 Hope this one outlives the warranty!

      I haven't seen inventory recovery from COVID.    In the few random times I 'build my own' truck or SUV, no one has the exact one I want.   GM has been working to lower incentives too for a long time.    A $500 incentive isn't getting me off the couch to go truck shopping.
