Looks like crutchfield has updated their website and now lists speaker sizes for the T1 trucks.

Just remember to take those sizes under caution. Crutchfield has been known to be inaccurate on some vehicles in the past.

Yeah they show 6x9 and 6.5" for the doors I think, so clearly one of them is a direct fit, and probably the 6.5" may need an extra bracket fabricated for it.

I just saw that JL Audio is offering a stealthbox for under the rear seat for the new generation truck.

Yes, they just released it. And it comes at a hefty price! $$$$$$$

Subthump just finished their box for the new trucks. It's a dual 10", just like the previous gen trucks, but he is also building a single 10" box. I've already ordered my single 10" and am anxiously waiting it's arrival. I will post pics when it gets here. I've also ordered the '16-'18 Camaro non-Bose harness, which we think will fit and give me speaker level inputs for my amp.

I think I read the factory radio head unit is in the passenger kick panel? Can anyone confirm or deny? Or is it behind the touch screen?

Cool, good to know. I emailed them this afternoon but hadn’t heard back yet. I also wrote and heard back from ground-shaker.com and they have a box complete and are just waiting to get it test fit to confirm everything is correct. They said they’ll be starting with a dual 10” and a dual 12”.

I don't have my truck yet, TPW is this week. Does anyone have the measurements handy of the space under the rear sea?. Wondering what else might fit there other than the custom-fit boxes.

Still waiting on delivery of my truck. Got out of production on Monday and expected delivery of April so who knows at this point. I'm really curious to know whether the old boxes fit or not. I haven't even seen the back floor to compare to the old trucks but I can't imagine it being too different. Regardless, a custom box will be made but that will save me a big hassle of waiting on a box to install. Any box measurements or measurements of rear floor to edge of seat would be appreciated. I am just dying to get the truck and start tearing it apart to see what needs to be fabricated. Deadening and wire runs should only take a day but getting speakers fitted in the dash and sails/a pillars might be a mission.

There is definitely more space under the seats now than there was back then I was able to fit my setup on this one without a seat lift when on my 2015 I had to list the seat by 2 inches.

I have been in contact with Steven over at SubThump in order to see if he can make my new subwoofer fit and it will not without a seat lift. He said these trucks have about 3 more inches of lift on the rear seats compared to the previous generation. For those that already have the truck, do you feel a difference in the height of the seat? Meaning, do you feel closer to the headliner or do you think it can handle a seat lift?
