Chirping? noise when accelerating

Has anyone had luck with the dealer addressing this issue? Just noticed this on my 2018 as well as a squeaky/creaky brake pedal (the creak seems to be coming from up higher near the brake booster).

I was just going to live with the annoying creaky brake pedal, but after the squeaking started I think the both of them may warrant a visit to the dealer.

I found someone on youtube (posted below) that posted a video about the same issue and while reading through the comments he stated that he eventually got the dealer to replace some exhaust components which solved the issue completely.

It’s unfortunate these two issues happen often (Almost every time you accelerate or brake) and become highly irritating. My truck is still under warranty thankfully. Am I being too critical or would this stuff bother you guys also and deserve a trip to the dealer?

Anybody have any luck? I've been fighting this for a couple years. At least on mine is definitely not the flapper valve because I cut it out when I put the new muffler on. Mine gets louder the higher the rpms.

I have a 2014 Silverado LTZ (very high milage - 219,000)  Runs great and still has some power left under the hood.  For the most part, it is in great shape.  It have a strange noise when acceleration or getting up to about 3 or 4 thousand RPM.  It only does it under load, so it is hard to find where the noise is coming from.  In the attached video, it takes place at 12-18s and then again at 40-46s.  It is hard to hear because of the wind noise, but I can't figure out how to isolate the noise any better.  If anyone has any ideas, I would sure appreciate the input.  The water pump was just replaced, and so was the alternator, along with the tensioner pulley.  I admit my limited knowledge under the hood, but I am willing to learn and fix it, if I can.

Hey I'm currently having the same issue with my 2015 Tahoe and can't figure it out I was thinking it may be the vacuum pump pulley but it only makes the chirping noise while in gear and accelerating I've replaced the tensioner,  that was my first guess but still not it, if you had it figured out and could save me the headache and time and money guessing and replacing parts that would be greatly appreciated

I had this same chirping. Just finished a new camshaft and DOD/AFM delete. No more chirping.

There's a possibility the failed lifter was hitting the lobe of the camshaft (mine had a bent pushrod on the failed lifter) and this is why I chose to upgrade my camshaft while fixing the lifter with the DOD delete.
