CH1991 that Silverado looks beefy with Toyos. Careful when you go offroad a big bump will cause you to rub from the looks of it.

I'll eventually quit gawking at the truck but right now i just can't help myself..

Bilstein 5100s at the highest setting

Airaid MIT

Method 17x8.5

295/70r17 Toyo RTs

Probably ordering a borla muffler and a tip within the next two weeks. Then by the summer hoping for headers and a tune.

looks great! I didn't know the 5100s could give that much lift. Looks higher!

I know right? I just think i got lucky with my particular truck. 1.8" has turned out great.

I'm about to purchase a Top Gun Customz 2.5" leveling kit and 1.5" add a leaf for my '15 Silverado. Saw it on Magstar's truck that came out perfect so the heights aren't the issue. What I'm trying to determine is if it's worth paying someone else to do the labor--$300 for the leveling kit and another $150 for the add a leaf, both matching quotes from nearby 4x4 shops. The $300 does include an alignment, btw.

I'm reasonably mechanically inclined and for half that can buy a jack, stands and wrenches to do the job. Plus I have a torque wrench and sometimes doubt that shops pay attention to torque settings for such work. YouTube is loaded with videos on how to do it all.

Anyone have helpful words to offer on this...I'd appreciate it.

So I put a rough country 2.5" on my 2016 AT up front, nothing in the back. I also have 295/60/20 on stock wheels. I was looking at the angle of my control arms at the end and it seems pretty steep. I was wondering yalls opinion? Would new control arms fix this or what? What are the long term consequences of this?

is this really the angle of just a 2.5" kit? that looks awful..

16+ now require the strut to be taken apart to install a coil spacer (for 2.5 RC lift). really debating just installing the lower 2" spacer and not doing the extra .5

whats everyone's opinions on just doing the 2" vs 2.5". really worth it?

A lot of guys say that 2.5" is the max you should go. I like to keep well within the safe zone so I went with 2" RC lower spacer and nothing in the rear. I like the way it sits; about a 3/4" rake is all now and IMO looks perfect.

IMO I think the 2" is fine. I wanted to get the extra .5" to be perfectly level, but I dont mind the minimal rake mine has now, and it is a safer and much simpler option than doing the 2.5". I would just stick to the 2". The extra .5" just isnt worth the hassle.

I have the RC upper and lower spacers and if I had to do all over again I would just do bottom only. I've had ball joints creaking and making noise since the first week. I had two reputable 4x4 shops check out the install and everything was installed correctly. This is with aluminum control arms. With both spacers it's really stretching it.

Also with both spacers @2.5 on the front only it looks nose high at times. But it is dead level.

Ok Guys I have a question I just put my new wheels on for the summer & I'm rubbing alot more than I thought.... anyways I started doing some trimming on the inner Cab I cut about 2 inch off the inside plastic cab corner end cap thing... and made a cut in my carpeted wheel well liner, got it out of the way then bent / hammered the sheet metal back on the corner... I did this to both side but for some reason the passenger side still is hitting it's like that wheel well is smaller then the drivers side.?

My question is; I only have a 2 inch RC spacer in the front if I add the thin plate on top of the front coil overs would I need to get another aliment it would be another .5 of lift & how much do you think it will help my rubbing situation?

Thanks In advance here's a picture 27d4f0c1d656289209fa452a8603d36a.jpg
