issue Rattle in headliner near sunroof

I had the same rattle.. ended up just being my sunglasses in the sunglass comparment haha

I took my truck in for repair on the sunroof (which they failed to repair after having the truck for 8+ days) and now have this rattle. It seems to be coming directly in between the sunroof and rear overhead lights in the headliner. I pushed around and it seems everything is secure. I'm pretty bummed about this since I'm not sure I want to take my truck back to the dealer I purchased from. I may have to find another dealer close to me and see if I have better luck.

My plastic trim on my rear passenger door makes a popping noise when I'm driving and it drives me nuts. Does anyone else have this problem?

The truck has been at the dealership for 3 days now, service engine light on and 3 recalls. They say the headliner rattle was from the glue seperating from the foam on the back side of the headliner. The have to order an entire headliner, and they do not know how long it will take to come in. Once it does arrive, the truck will need to go back in for a full day to replace it.

I have a rattle near my sun roof and found that if i close the sun roof shade like 99% it makes the rattle go away, its annoying but I havent really had a chance to actually look up in there. I will make sure to tell the dealer if i cant find these loose clips the poster talked about a few posts ago

I dont have the sun roof but within a week after purchase the wiring harness dropped and was flopping on the headliner around where the lights and sunglasses holder is. Maybe yall are experiencing something similar to some degree. I took it in and they relocated the wiring harnass (probably just duct taped it to the cealing) and have had no issues since. It was very annoying while rattling/bouncing off the headliner.

I was finally fed up with the rattle near my sun roof so I punched the roof in anger yesterday and now the rattle is gone... please dont tell me this is how I need to fix things in this truck going forward...

Haha, maybe that's the right technique. When radio quits, hit it hard, when truck fails to start, kick the starter motor.

 

But it really works on the rattles and squeaks. GM uses metal clips that must be fully seated. I fixed one of my car squaks by hiting the loose clip with palm of my hand. No squeaks since.

I had this issue. Dealer fixed it in about an hour. Problem was loose sunroof track. No problems since.

I just had mine fixed saturday, the tech was gone who fixed it and i'm not sure what all they did. I'll try to find out.

Now i have a rattle under the steering column. Jesus, will it ever end?!

Can someone explain to me how I can get my sunglass holder to close again? I ended up taking off the plastic piece with the metal pin, then I put it back in, but now it just slides back and forth on the holder without locking it closed. Does the pin go into something? Right now it just rests on top of the plastic parts with all the grease. I can't keep it closed now?
