Look what just showed up at the office! A new 2014 GMC Sierra Crew Cab. It's a highly-optioned SLT trim with 4X4 and the Z71 package. It also has a lot of the premium goodies like lane departure warning and the Bose sound system. We get to keep it until next Friday.

So, that means it's time to do a Live Review, similar to when we drove the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado in August.

Here's the window sticker. This particular Sierra has an MSRP of $50,185.

Many more photos and pictures to come.

A few more photos. The interior really looks upscale. I'm very impressed.

Took a ride down a dirt road into the NH wilderness. Much more composed than our 2011!

Cool, any vids?

What do you want video of? Driving footage or something in particular?

Whatever you feel like taking. The pics are great though, do you have some of the engine compartment?

I'll try to record something for you soon.

Here's your engine compartment shot

The wife and I went shopping this morning. The crew cab handles groceries very well

I really like the wheels! Great design & looks rugged. The step bars are also nice but reduce ground clearance.

A close up of the factory spray-on bedliner. It feels softer and less durable than the Line-X we have on Project Sierra.

Is the engine compartment really as tight as it looks?

It's not significantly different than the previous generation. The picture makes it look more cramped than it really is.

I haven't seen the spray in liner listed as an option online- is it certain configurations only? Either way, I'd do Line-X over any OE offering, I just don't think anyone can do it better.

The new engine bay does look cramped (of course after seeing the engine bay of a dodge everything looks cramped, lol), too much plastic, I like to see the engine. I'm really starting to like these k2 trucks though. good thing I don't have the money to buy a new truck, lol.

You think the Ram has an open underhood area? On the 5.7 it looks like a Ford with nearly half the engine under the cowl. The plastic is there to quiet the GDI system. They're noisy.
