Skyjacker leveling kit snapped into pieces...

Purchased a skyjacker 2" leveling kit for my 14 silverado.. Long story short. I struggled with the driver side for quite sometime and finally managed to get the strut out and the spacer mounted on. I went ahead with the reassembly and started to tighten the top 3 new bolts to hold the strut in position.. I heard a slight pop noise but really didn't think anything of it.. I continued to tighten them one by one.. Then I heard it pop again.... I noticed the spacer had a gap.. It wasn't resting flush with the top of the strut. I decided to take It all apart to check... Sure enough this is what I find!!!

Also.. I went to the other side and it went so smooth.. My question is I'm riding around leaning to one side lol... It rides fine & doesn't pull at all... Will I be ok with it like this for a day or to till I get my new spacer? I just didn't want to have to take it all apart again to put it back together stock..

That looks like cheap, white metal?!?! Something like that should be a piece of billet aluminum at least. Brutal. Better that it happened while you were still working on the truck vs. driving an happen mid-corner .........could have lead to an accident!

I would remove the whole kit and get a better kit to install. Who knows when the other side will do that to you. Rough country, readylift, TGC are a few that everyone uses and had no issues.

Agreed. I would pull the whole thing and go with a different kit altogether. That's a horrible (quality) piece of junk right there!

The RC 2" lift is way easier to install as you don't have to remove the top of the strut. The spacer goes in at the bottom

I just called them back, I'm gonna try and return the skyjacker and have him order me a RC kit and give me the $ difference back. Soonest ill know is tomorrow if he can swap. I cant afford a 40,000$ investment with some cheap ass lift. Gotta do it right
