Looks great, did the same thing to mine over the summer.

Did you buy the kit with all 3 pieces, and replace your existing skid plate cover?

Service Component, Under Body Shield 23135960 1 $65.52 Shipped   are the part numbers I ordered from GMPartsdirect in 2018. Z71 should already have the metal skid plate from the factory for the transfer case.

Yes, I bought the kit on eBay a few weeks ago after a member posted their upgrade. Was that you? If so, thanks!

I did replace the existing skid plate. I banged it up on a hunting trip in September and the third plate already had some rust on it.

Was not me, never got around to posting any pictures after it was done.

I bought mine from GMPartsdirect.com, along with extra bolts.

Too bad, almost looks like the floor of your truck is made of glass in the picture.

Where did you mount the lights? And how?

the interior light "wire" is right under the dash on the drivers side plugged into the bcm, i just tapped into that wire and then I used the 10mm mounting bolt on the lower kickpanel as the ground and then just ran a led strip under the edge of the dash to the passenger side, zip tied it at both ends so it is tight like a tightrope, it's not in the way of anything and if it needs to be moved for any reason I can just cut the zip tie on the passenger side and pull it out then put it back later. I ran the wires so they are behind the factory wires and out of the way of getting yanked or pinched, the power wire is fused so if it shorted out for any reason it will just pop the fuse on the led strip and not harm anything else.?

Full exterior detail.. clay bar, ceramic, wax/sealant plus fixed what chips I could on the front bumper. 6 hours later and I’m totally exhausted lol.. the most time consuming part was cleaning/waxing/sealing the wheels. All of those nooks and crannies on these honeycombs really takes a bit of time.

Today I finished installing bus bars in the bed. Right now it is covered with a tonneau, but I plan to order a topper between now and Black Friday. I plan to keep the truck for a long time, so I don’t trust T-taps for a permanent wiring solution. These bus bars will help with modifying the bed lighting for a switch in the bed. It will provide a solid ground for my CHMSL circuit. It will also make it easy to wire an air compressor and accessory outlets in the bed.

a previous thing I did was swapped in a 220amp alternator (kw5) from a 3500, it's plug-n-play just make sure you get the one with the correct pulley as there is 2 different ones, decoupled and steel

Installed JL Audio’s front console sub and a lil RF 500.1 amp. Much better than stock. Also ordered KO2s for my feet
