Ryan any accidents or mods on your truck? I will have to say that would be highly unusual for a bare bones unmolested stock truck........................

Sounds like a BCM issue. They can probably re-flash the BCM and see if it helps. Otherwise, swapping the BCM out may be the answer.

So, how in the world do you park it overnight? The battery would be dead in the morning if the lights were on all night.

Had my 2014 Sierra now for two weeks made the first long night drive last weekend could not believe how bad the headlights are. i stopped one time and checked to see if only the fog lights were on. Been looking at the HID kits they all seem to have too many problems. Might be fine around a city but i would not trust them between Anchorage and Fairbanks at -30. i just ordered replacement bulbs Philips 9011 HIR see if that helps. A very nice truck other than the terrible headlights. Hard to fathom.

I was going the HID route but decided I have seen too many documented problems with them overall. Check out vled's lmz headlights, that's what I ordered a couple days ago, although they are on back order until at least the end of the month.

Looks like the day time running lights will not work with the VLEDS. Something about wiring in a capacitor, relay, wiring cobble forget it. Wonder if they will be on back order if one failed. Thanks.

There's another thread on here with a guy already running the vleds, that's where I got my idea from; Didn't seem to have any trouble.

.

SLT trucks don't have any issue with the LMZ LED lights, due to the led DRLS. SLE uses 1 bulb for headlights and DRLs under a Pulsed signal, causing the led trouble. Jake at vleds told me they are working on a better setup for the Sierra SLE, expected to be done is a few months hopefully.

Unfortunately I cancelled my order for the LMZ due to this reason.

Maybe my order will get off back order quicker now that you cancelled lol. That does suck though for the SLE guys.

Hopefully so. Mine was suppose to ship out 23rd I believe

Wonder how Vleds designed and tested their led bulbs to keep from over heating the $LE headlight bezels. Am sure if there were long term damage that Jake would send replacement oem bezels.

So I can use vled lights without issue since I have the upper and lower led strip on my headlamp setup? I have a upper end package all terrain.

Does anyone have these VLEDS installed ? Are they better then stock? please post details and a link to the bulbs you installed...

^^^that's where I got the idea from actually. I'm not sure if anyone else has received any yet besides Jon.

I opted this route just because there is no cutting required, straight plug n play. Also have seen to many problems with HID kits installed for my liking.

Skeeter - thanks for info man. I have a Moto 35w HID now.. works fine (so far) but it the reliability of these HID kits makes me nervous... like you said.

So this VLED kit... is this HID... looks like it has a ballast int he link... I'm confused? How would the output compare to my Moto 35 watt kit?
