Moroso Air-Oil Separator (Catch Can) Install

Well, I drained my Moroso catch can today for the first time since my install. I collected 1.5 ounces after 688 miles of normal driving, which works out to about 2.18 ounces per thousand miles. I will continue to monitor it until I get a better handle on the rate across all seasons, but if it maintains this rate I will need to drain it not later than about every four thousand miles. I am going to utilize one of the trip odometers to serve as a reminder.

 

I drained my Moroso catch can today for the second time since my install. There was very little difference from the first time. I collected 2.1 ounces after 1076 miles of normal driving, which works out to about 1.95 ounces per thousand miles. I plan to drain it next after winter. Based on the comments of others, I expect to see a higher collection rate due to the increased condensation during winter.
