Bull-Ring tie downs

Hello all, I want to install retractable bull ring tie downs in the top rail pockets of my bed. I am unfamiliar with these accessories, and cannot seem to find any that are specifically compatible with the new generation Sierra. This leads me to believe that they may be a universal type accessory, however the inside of the pocket towards the rear looks a bit different than I recall older trucks looking (a lot more plastic inside). Any suggestions on compatibility of these tie downs on a 2016 sierra 1500? Thank you guys

The rear looks different because it is shaped for a handle for you to grab using the step bumper. ( at least it is that way on my '15) they make tie downs for the 9 pocket holes around the bed that have a 45 degree angle and retract. I have all 9 and would highly recommend. I hope that helps. 90e3749eaf1adf486f5d40bcc3d18916.jpg

This is correct. Because of the shape of the 2014+ GM stake pocket holes, Bullring only makes the retractable rings for use inside the bed. The one you are referring to is for 2007-2013 model years...

Thank you for the response. So to be clear, the pockets on top of the bed rail in the rer are meant for a handle, and no tie down setups are available? There is also a plastic cover over what looks to be a pocket toward the the front of the bed, do these accept any tie down/bull ring setups? My bed came with 4 rotating tie down rings, however I may replace them the style you have. Are they retractable, and are they the same as the link provided below?

These are the ones I was looking at too

Yes they are the same as the ones posted by lsxrx7 and yes they are retractable. I do not believe there are any tie downs options for the rear handle. The front top hole that has a plastic cover would probably fit the original bull ring tie down, but with 9 around the bed I felt pretty well covered.

I did the 9-pack of the retractable Bull Rings and thing they are the best option out there in terms of quality and looks. I installed them after my Linex spray. If you get them, install them with a couple drops of blue Loctite (242) on the screws.

I got a set of those when I bought my truck, they are still sitting in a box under the back seat, probably will never use them.

Would you be willing to sell?
