Just to clarify. I already have a Denali cluster installed in my truck.

From what year?

Yeah, cause if its a 14-15 cluster, you will have the incompatibility. The 16 clusters went to blue lighting right?

2017 was first year for new color scheme 2016 has both red and blue available for gas engines.

17+ GMC models switched to blue everything just like the silverado's.

Why GM didn't pony up to get RGB's like fords have is beyond me.

Does the instument cluster cluster need to be from a 1500 vs 2500 (as long as gas version 2500 in my case for the correct tach display) and as long as it is 2016+ or are there better year/models to try to find?

As you can see in the photo, some models of silverado's were offered with a smaller 4" screen as opposed to the big 8" screen. This client upgraded from the small screen to the larger one and added carplay/aa functionality.

can anyone tell me if I can add nav to my existing 2.5 hvmi

Wow,

Just upgraded my 2015 Silverado 3500HD from 2.0-2.5 from  Magpie. What a great asset to this forum.

all my questions were answer quickly and clearly.

if you haven’t done this upgrade you really need to consider it.

I now have CarPlay and all that comes with it.

Thanks :flag::flag:
