I also noticed the new trucks still don't have power tilt and telescopic steering wheels.

That's ok, it's just a truck, not a Lexus.

Why not? At the very least, the upper tier models should be. People don't buy the LTZ, SLT, Denali and High Country to use as a supply truck for their masonry company.....

It's not okay. For some people this is their "Sunday" vehicle, work vehicle, family vehicle and they want these things. Besides, with what they cost, these options should be available, especially on upper trims and the fact that the SUVs have had them all since 2015 and the competition for several years as well.

GM will not gain market share with half-baked efforts and de-contenting of their bread and butter models.

Is this adaptive cruise crap anything like the heated steering wheel?  totally worthless and pointless?

I LOVE my heated steering wheel. What's wrong with it??

GM trucks are the closest to a "Truck" you can still buy. Even the new 2019 T1's

Speaking of Lexus.... if you want one go buy a RAM

The Heated Steering wheel is great. I love mine.

As well as the Cooled Seats. Love mine.

Both heated steering wheel and cooled seats are something very rewarding here in the Midwest Summer Heat and Winter Cold.

In my opinion, the Tundra is the closest thing to a real truck you can still buy.  Great V8 that hasn’t been eff’d up by using stop start tech, DI, cylinder deactivation, exhaust flapper valves, or any of the other doo dads that just cause issues later on. The 6 speed tranny is legit and extemely intuitive.  The 4.30 rear axle is rock solid.  It’s a tried and true truck that some say is dated, but I think it’s nearing perfection with thought out incremental improvements.  I’ve owned one for 3 years now and it’s not needed anything but oil changes.

Glad your like your Tundra Brian.

In the grand Scheme of things, the Big 3 are what we normally think about first when we refer to "Trucks"

Sure, Toyota and Nissan are making strides. So is RAM

I just do not agree with Colossus on his comparison of a Lexus to the Interior of a GM truck.

While I agree with you for my own needs (only want a LTZ for the 6.2, but I'll probably just go RST anyways) it's always surprised me that -

- Silverado is their best selling vehicle, 2nd best in the country

- It doesn't have every tech and feature they offer as an option

- It's proven for over a decade that people will pay for these options, see Ford and Ram.

So while there is no skin off my back on high level options, It's a little confusing. The two things I'm most disappointed about in the 2019 is lack of adaptive cruise (used it and loved it) and it should have been a 9" screen as this screen looks even smaller than the K2.  Not a huge deal, as it's very fast and easy to use.

I guess if you want to get technical about it......

The true Truck feel award would have to go to a New Nissan Frontier :loser:

That interior does not look much different than the 92 Honda Accord I once had

I’m still very excited about getting my 19 Sierra or even Silverado , that said I sat in a Ram limited for the first time and I was blown away. Beautiful bits and pieces , layout looks awesome , seats are plush , full rear flat floor.  Look I love my GM as much as anyone here but interior wise the gm is 2 generations behind.  Heck Cadillac can learn from Ram.  Yes the gm is prolly more capable but who uses their 1500 to the full max ?  Wish interiors were important to GM because the 19 gm interior gets blown away

I don’t know, all I can picture is that ugly ram on the steering wheel air bag leaving that imprinted in my forehead.  ☠️

Friend of mine has a 2019 Ram Limited.

His glove box badge was stuck on with double sided tape and fell off twice.

All dealer did was stick it back on. Fed up, he used Gorilla Glue.

Also, his 12" mega screen has locked up a few times. Only way to get it back on was disconnect battery cable for 5 min to perform a reset.

Personally the RAM interior is lipstick on a pig. That is my 2 cents.
