Forgot to post this but I did a mirror mount for my cobra scanner. Looks cleaner then the windshield suction cups that would always fall off. Maybe down the line I’ll do a wire tap but for now I’m happy with it

Nice, looks good! I’ve been looking at a few detectors. I like the Uniden r7 and the escort max360c...but I like the size smaller non-360 detectors.

Thanks! Yeah this is the Cobra RAD-450. I got a good deal on it at Best Buy during their Black Friday sales last year. It’s definitely a nice thing to have especially on road trips.

Just did a homemade tap for mine. Cut the power wire and soldered some short pieces of paper clip to the wires and stuck them into the correct pin locations. Saved $50!

Fuel Rebel - 20x9 +1 in bronze

Dealer tried to keep them when I traded in my Denali, I said no way! I love the wheels, but they are becoming super popular...

I think i commented on them before with your last truck haha, but in any case let me tell you again that i really like the choice you made. To many blacked out rims imo today, nice to see something different.

I finally got my wheels and tires. Got a great deal too! (Fyi I looked up my OEM tires and they are actually 31" but maybe they have different options especially for the trail boss)

So here's what I've done with my truck so far since my purchase back in July '19:

My truck is a 5.3L Crew Cab Standard bed RST.

I worked in custom leather seats and spray in bed liner into my deal with the purchase. Beyond that I've got..

- weathertech side window deflectors
- center console tray insert
- found the bed had some holes already drilled for an optional accessory, so I purchased some light mounts to hold a flag in the bed.
- teaching myself how to wrap interior pieces before I do exterior. I need to add the bronze to the rest of the chrome trim on the interior.
- 5 or 10% ceramic tint and windshield strip. 80% full windshield ceramic tint.
- full matte black American flag decal on back window.
- removed the front air dam
- Matte Black plasti dipped badges
- Ronin .50 cal antenna
- Baja Kits Leveling Kit
-18x9 -12mm Method NV in bronze
-33x12.5r18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers

How hard was it to remove the chrome parts within the interior...because I'll be damned, it's blinding reflection wise when the sun hits it. I want to wrap it all in satin black.

Truck looks great btw

Any links/info on those light mounts you used for flag pole?

Looks pretty easy with a trim tool. Ya gotta skip past some of his intro garbage, but this is the video I watched. I got some Satin White Pearl vinyl coming to wrap all of my chrome for the same damn reason.

Purchased a scanner for this new truck, I feel like I will be using it often at the rate I'm going. Lol99adcb2be815d8e455204959018968e2.jpg

Got the front windows tinted (15%) to match the back. Also eliminated the antenna completely. Happy with the clean look!

My husband wondered why I got a shorter 13" antenna for my truck. He said, "You do know it's a certain length to get reception"...I said "I don't listen to the radio, I have a cell phone with GooglePlay..." ?

I guess the 20 years between us caught up to him on that conversation LMAO!
