I just ordered the Bakflip MX4 from truckalterations.com for $780 with no tax and free shipping. I just sent an email and asked for their best price as someone suggested in another thread and they got back to me right away then sent an electronic invoice for payment.

Just installed an undercover ultraflex.  Looks great and I love how it does not rest on the cab in the full upright position.  Little pricey, but I got the $100 rebate so that helps.  It got rained on almost immediately and had very little to no water in the bed.

I can confirm that the GM Embark Advantage Max cover, or as most know it...the Retrax Pro MX, allows the use of the assist handle that flips up in the bed.

I installed tonight but the pics at night were poor, so tomorrow I will post some. Pretty easy install and the Realtrucks YouTube video made it even easier.

Cover looks cool and functions well as far as closing and opening. Can't comment on water tightness, but more on those tests later this week.

I plan to buy the same also especially since Chevy currently has 20% off on their site.

I did a lot of research and I think I want to go with the Retrax Pro MX (or Embark Advantage on their site). I like the flexibility of having the T-rails available if you want to put some cross bards on there.  What made you decide to go with this cover?

Post a picture when you can so we can see how it looks! Thanks.

I went with this cover because of the 20% discount plus free shipping and was also able to use my GM Rewards points also. The cover was ordered last Friday and came in on Tuesday(obviously the strike didn't effect the accessories). $365 discount was nice.

It is warranted for 3 years by GM and guaranteed to fit. The assist handle for the MultiPro tailgate works and the auto-down tailgate still works.

It was easy to install and works nicely. The color is matte black and it's powder coated all aluminum constructed. There are no T slots on my cover although there may be one on GMC's site.

I like the retractable better than a trifold personally. This one is made by Tetrax and the email they/Retrax sent me said that it is the ProMX with another name for GM.

Hey guys! I just put on my new tonneau cover. I bought it online and paid about $1670 for it delivered. I ordered the aluminum Retraxpro XR because I wanted the option to install crossbars on the rails. I literally just installed it about an hour ago so there's not much I can say except for the looks. I think it looks super clean and nice. The installation took a little over an hour because I watched someones installation video on youtube. I can't speak for the water yet leakage yet but hopefully I can update you all one of these days.

For those looking for a good low/mid range option. I got the Gator EFX Hard Fold. Pleased with it. Low profile and good water protection. Got it for $600 w/tax shipped.

Hi Thunder

My local truck accessory guy doesn’t have a display of this yet and I want to see the top to understand what it’s made of. Can you elaborate for me in detail?

It looks like a soft vinyl.

Do you think it will hold up over time in regards to creasing and the flip points?

It  is a soft vinyl  like old school tonneau   so far so good holds a crease some times after long folds but other then that still happy with it

I got to see one in person today.
just want to make sure.
the “folds” in the top are for lack of a better term dented or recessed?
yours look smooth smooth where this one I saw has lines from side to side.
thanks again.

Has anyone with the Undercover Ultraflex had issues getting the rail to lay flat?  The driver side rail is raised in the back and once the cover is on it is very noticeable. I tried adjusting the clamp but it doesn’t make a difference.  Wondering if the rail itself is warped or bent.

From the listing on the Xceed  - looks like it is vinyl coated aluminum.

That’s new on the site. That wasn’t there a few weeks ago. I kept trying to find out what it was in top. I did get one hoping it will be a good one.  The dealer didn’t even have a display of it yet. Ordered one in for me to look at and decide if I wanted it. I took it.
