Suburban 2019 Suburban Premier RST are they lying?

Hi all, just took delivery of my Suburban and the first thing that jumps out at me is that there is no cover for the owner's manual like the '04 has.  Salesfolk say that GM doesn't use a cover anymore.  Are they lying?

Do you mean a cover on the booklet itself or the leather pouch?

They stopped that years ago - now you get a ziplock baggie...

Thanks guys, I have no leather pouch, is there supposed to be one?  I just a ziplock baggie.  
Seems to be a real cheap deal on a high end Suburban.

Said same thing with my ltz black diamond avalanche (my ls avalanche had one), but it is what it is. You will find many options online that are much better than the old covers for under 20 bones - search glove box organizer...

Even Corvette gets a baggie.  I think only Cadillac gets a pouch from GM.

No leather pouch, but you can always buy one on Amazon for less than $10
