I only saved more than 10k on going with this option instead of the AT4 with the Duramax.

Trail boss stickers on a non-trail boss? :wtf:

Tyler

Yep....what makes a Trail Boss a Trail Boss?

2 inch lift - checked...with way better shocks.

Z71 package- checked.

Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac ( mine are 33 tall with the snow flake. The factory  duratrac's are actually 32 tall and no snow flake)- checked.

Off Road Rims - checked.

No air-dam on front bumper  - checked.

Red Tow-Hooks ( for the extra 10hp gain 😉) - checked.

Black Front Grill with Z71 badge- checked.

And I think the Duramax is a better option engine wise...but that's my personal opinion...hihihihi...

So actually mine is a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trail Boss RST - Special Edition ...🤣🤣🤣.

I have bilstein 5100 all around.

Front 2 inch lift position.

Rear I added a Rancho 1.5 inch lift kit that came with blocks, u-bolts and bump stops extenders.

Hi OctavianCDA

Our new RST with Duramax / Z71 hopefully arrives from factory later this month.

Have the 5100's to install but undecided about the front setting. Our son's truck is a 5.3 and he has set at 2.5". Looks very tall in front. Heard the 3.0 is a little heavier and sits about .5 inch lower.

Would you be able to post a side picture of your truck? Interested to see if your truck is level or has slight rake.

Many thanks!

I hope this helps.

The second picture is with the height of the from driver side.

Keep in mind my tires actually measure 33" tall. They are the 275 60r20, oem size for the 20" rim.

The oem duratrac that come with the 18" trail boss rims are 275 65r18 ( 32" tall), so depending on your setup it might be a bit different.

I still have around 1" of rake(back is higher)...I actually didn't want it level because I am towing a small 20ft toy hauler for camping.

The rake is not very noticeable I think maybe because mine is with the crew cab and standard bed..so it's a bit longer....

Awesome!!  Thank you for posting so quickly.

Going to run Toyo AT3's / LT275/65R18's on the truck.

Your truck looks great with the 2.0 setting on the front / 1.5" block on rear. I was trying to find a 1" rear block kit from MotoFab but they can't get the materials to produce them right now.  Our dealer has no trucks in stock to even look at right now but wonder if your truck came stock with rear blocks??

No blocks on mine. The spring where sitting on the axle directly.

I purchased the rear lift separately.

This is the kit I used. I like this because it also comes with aluminum bump-stop extenders.

I know you can find many no-name options on Amazon/Ebay but I was thinking to go with a known brand just for piece of mind.

FYI, I went with a 1" rear block kit from Supreme Suspensions:

You can also order them on Amazon.

Good luck.

Thanks for that Bill!  Did the block have a taper for pinion angle??

The 1" does not. I asked about that as well. Shop that installed everything did not think it was necessary either. I believe the 1.5" and up do have a taper, if I recall correctly. FYI, no vibration, truck rides great. I have the Bilstein 6112's up front and 5150's in rear.

I just read through this thread and there's a lot of info there to process.

So to summarize, If I want to leave the rear at stock height but raise the front an inch or so to level it the shocks I need are the 5100s stock #s 24-309509 and 24-309516?

I have a 2021 1500 Sierra AT4 6.2L.
