It just happened tonight, I am going to call them tomorrow.

I travel a ton for work, usually 1000-1500 miles a week. I can't afford to have doubts about my truck not working.

I will post back what they day.

I had a few days of no problems then...
I was driving from Minneapolis to Kansas City today. My truck started throwing up tons of error codes and wouldn't restart after turning it off. It wouldn't even crank.
I unplugged the Pulsar and took it out of the system, everything fired up.
I am going to ship it back, not sure it is fully developed yet.

That’s what mine did. Powerteq has my device and will be testing it out along with my first device that also failed.

At the very least you should call them and tell them about your issues so they don’t think I’m the only one.

Just another reason why I’ll wait and have all the bugs worked out of this thing. Too many issues right now.  Hopefully by spring they will have kinks worked out.

Who knows, maybe the tuning industry will drop their prices by then??‍♂️??

First one was a bad unit all the way around.

Second one worked like it should for about 7 days then I had the same issues you did out of nowhere.

Call them!

The under hood connector these things plug into is prone to failure. I’ve seen them replaced on about 5 trucks for strange electrical issues similar to what was mentioned above.  So it makes me wonder how the failed units were installed.  For instance any difficulty getting the connector apart initially and/or any difficulty installing the unit maybe damaging the connector/connector pins inside the factory connector or the device connector and causing some issues.

Aside from some tabs that were a bit too long on the pulsar connectors causing a slight torment issue, the original connector was easy-off and the new one was easy-on. They are the same brand (Delphi) as the factory connectors.

What exactly fails on the connector? I had to file down those grey tabs as well. Once they were filed down the module engaged perfectly. It seems like a great design to prevent the plug from coming loose. If the cam is fully rotated and the red lock seated all the way in, I dont know how it could come loose.

Filed down these two tabs a bit and all is well. Install, my issues aside, is easy. Fifteen minutes tops!

If GM ever has a question as to whether or not you modded this vehicle... you just answered it, permanently. LOL

Yeah you’re right! Except if they ask I didn’t touch a thing. Must’ve come from the factory like that. Also after cleaning it up you can’t tell it was modified. Bottom line: I’m not worried about it.

You really shouldn't be. If you read the range warranty you are on your own dime regardless.

"The SELLER disclaims any warranty and expressly disclaims any liability for personal injury or damages. The BUYER acknowledges and agrees that the disclaimer of any liability for personal injury is a material term for this agreement and the BUYER agrees to indemnify the SELLER and to hold the SELLER harmless from any claim related to the item of the equipment purchased. Under no circumstances will the SELLER be liable for any damages or expenses by reason of use or sale of any such equipment."

What fails is the connector is the connection of the pins in the connector.  That connector design doesn't make a good connection for all the pins in the connector.   So if and install didn't go smooth, it may have worsened the condition of the connector.

I'd recommend to those having problems, apply some dialectic grease to the connectors and see what happens.  Maybe I'm wrong, but like I said, I've seen too many issues with these connectors with out being tampered with.

    • WTI futures / speculation is just that. WTI futures <> current 4-7% inflation and national average gas price over $4.00/gallon.   The spot price, at delivery, is currently $87-$95/barrel which is why gas prices remain high.   Edit: oH mY gOd mEnTaL BrEaKdoWn In tHE pOsT aBOve mInE. • He does, actually. In another unrelated video he mentions the president called him in the middle of the night to relay some information on a cause (religious based) that he's invested in. Glenn expressed concern that another leftist administration could wield too much power with some procedure the Pentagon was using, classifying certain religions a certain way. Being that he is LDS (Latter Day Saints), he gets hate all the time from ALL over the political spectrum, so he's invested in this. Trump called him back at 5AM to tell him he had made some changes to that classification.   So, yes, they are and have been in contact regularly since the start of the administration. Glenn, of course, always asks his permission before discussing anything on the air.   I already spent an hour or more just searching for these videos. I may have my numbers wrong - I'm not a numbers guy. It may have been a MILLION barrels, not 1.5. The point is, our President, by his actions, gives a crap about America, and US - this is completely OPPOSITE the actions of the prior administration who projected hatred for anyone who wasn't following the left's edicts in lock-step.   Remember, they called January 6th an "Insurrection", when there were ZERO weapons among the crowd, undercover FBI agents agitating the crowd, along with paid leftists acting as aggressors, egging the crowd on in an attempt to whip everyone into a frenzy. It's all been proven.  Pelosi refused Trumps request for more National Guard troops. This smells 100% like an inside job for those with critical thinking skills. Only a handful of guys in the crowd got wrapped up in that, thankfully, but EVERYONE was searched out based on cell phone data, and charges were brought against many. And 6 or so people were locked up and left in solitary confinement for YEARS with ZERO due process!! If you give the slightest crap about our Nation, REGARDLESS of your political leanings, this should frighten you to your core. This is what men suffered, bled, fought, and died against 250 years ago!   This has gone FAR BEYOND left vs. right. This is a  threat to America, and our way of life. This is PRECISELY why Trump, a BILLIONAIRE who could have chosen to take Melania and sit on some tropical island that he could afford to buy himself and RELAX, instead chose to run for office, get hate from literally every corner of the media, get ATTEMPTS on his LIFE constantly, and begin to repair some of the severe damage that's been done to this Great Nation.   I don't know why I bother wasting my precious time here. Everyone has their minds made up. They won't realize we all were correct until it's too late ... after they elect another tyrant that hates America to office (Obama), or another puppet whose administration is secretly running the show behind the scenes (Biden).
    • Hello, Im in a bit of a bind maybe someone could help me out.  We towed our trailer, up a pretty steep incline (395 north of Bishop) done it before no issues. I got to our campground turn truck off, i restarted the truck about an hour later  and check engine light turns on. Found DTC P2C48,  unable to reset.  This morning i removed the plug, there's 12.12v at the plug. Reservoir near firewall is full of coolant, checked for leaks nothing. I dont hear or feel the pump turning on. My dilemma, is nearest dealer  is 4hrs away that has the pump instock. Is it safe to drive? By me checking the available voltage at the connector and not hearing/feeling pump turn on, is it a bad pump? Please help...
    • The figure bandied about is "100 million barrels" so I think a decimal is off somewhere. But that doesn't change the outcome much when the expected flow through the Strait through over the same time should have been more than 2,000,000,000.   So 5%, if that number is even true, and there's sufficient data to believe it's not. Give that man another Fifa peace prize! 5% is less than the flow of a grapefruit-sized prostate blocking the release of cheap lager after a night of bingo.
