Paint chips and corrosion on 1 month old truck

We have a 2024 AT4 2500HD Duramax Summit White with 25k Miles , Pretty sad we cannot drive it without coming come and finding multiple new chips in the paint. Touch them up and drive it and come home to new multiple chips. I worked for GM for over 30 years as a Master Cadillac Craftsman , Have owned 50 + Vehicles and this is by far the worst paint on any Vehicle I have ever owned . When I get healthy will need to get in touch with the local zone rep to see what can be done. Pretty sad I do not want to drive my $80k truck cause it will get chips everytime I drive it. not just 1 multiple chips . We have an 03 Silverado Dually that has over 200k and does not get chips . Pretty sad and very frustrated with GM on this truck !!!

Cope harder.  GM doesn't care.  None of the OEMs care anymore.  

 

The only way you are stopping chips is to have your front end clear bra'd.

This, if you want to know who you can thank, the environment chodes are the reason for the weak water based brittle paints we get today. This is an every manufacture problem too, its why anyone with a nice car today, their first stop is usually to get the front PPF'd, and that @#@# isn't cheap either....
