Dropped the truck off at the dealer for the 4th and final repair attempt. Truck also has 30+ days in service over the previous 3 repair vistis. Truck was purchased new in late November 2015 and today is March 22, 2016.

I contacted GM today about my issue as well. Same thing as everyone else, new tires and multiple road force balances. Purchased truck in Oct 2015 and has vibrated since the day I drove it off the lot. Everytime I bring it in the problem gets 80% better for a couple weeks and then is back to the heavy vibrations between 75-80 mph. Dealer keeps giving excuses like "the weights must be falling off the tires" and things like that. Hopefully the executive support will be able to help me so I don't have to get a lawyer involved, but it seems like that might be the only course of action.

I am thankful my dealer quickly went past wheels and tires, they have seen enough that were not corrected from RFB. New ring and pinion, still being road tested by them to confirm repair.

I received a new 2016 yesterday (ordered new not from current dealer stock) to replace my GMC 2015 6.2 4x4 crew cab that vibrated since I bought it in Dec 2015. My 2015 has been at the dealer since Jan 5th trying to resolve the vibration. They tried wheels, tires, replaced ring & pinion, replaced shocks and are trying shims for the engine next. I'm glad that truck is gone. The new 2016 does not vibrate at all for now and the transmission appears much smoother than the 2015.

Thanks to everyone that takes the time to post what's happening with their trucks on this forum. It helped me get through the last 3 months.

Well, it looks like the new transmission, 4x4 transfer case recall and motor mount shims DID NOT fix my highway vibration above 60 mph. It rode much better at the lower speeds.

Harry gave me the news today...

Since my truck STILL vibrates and is on it's 4th and final attempt he has ordered some special tires.

When i showed up to take it for another test drive they looked to be the exact same tires I started with.

Nope, I had them on my first 2014. I had the rims and tires installed on that one before i even picked it up. That was the one with the squeaky dashboard that they couldn't fix.

I would like to thank this forum for saving me $33,xxx + on a 2014 Silverado.

I read this last night, stumbled upon the forum by accident.

I was going into the dealer to buy the truck today.

I test drove a 2014 Silverado LTZ, accelerated it up to 76 mph and sure shit...the vibration was there.

I asked the dealer who was riding with me if he could see my hands vibrating on the steering wheel and he could.

I drove a 2016 of the exact same model and no vibration...so again, thank you very much! If they can find one for me I will be buying one this week.

Yes, this is my first post. Thank you, again!!!

Just be cautious, there are some that don't vibrate for the first 1500 miles or so. And there are more than a few 2016's with the issue here.
