Part number for window button?

Anyone know the GM part number for the button on the driver's side that controls the front-passenger window for a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500? Most of the time when I press the button down, the window never goes down (the motor doesn't even turn on), but it usually goes up, leading me to think it's a problem with the switch itself. Thanks!

The drivers side switches are different between the trucks with door modules and ones that are hard wired. The door module equipped truck are usually equipped with the Tahoe/Yukon dash (All Terrains, SLT, Denalis). These trucks usually also have the signal/power fold (DL3) mirrors. If your truck has door modules, the switch/module will need to be programmed via Tech 2 ata GM dealership before it will function at all properly.

Also, regular cabs have a different master switch than the crew/extended cabs.

Thanks 2013sierrasle! I have the SLE1 extended cab, without power/folding mirrors. I think that means I need the 20877335 (old) / 20835552 (new) one. What does old and new mean? Did GM change the part numbers? Thanks again!

GM supersedes part numbers often. Usually there was a change to the part to warrant the change. Just make sure your current switch looks exactly as pictured, with the mirror control attached. For the best price, plug the numbers into Ebay. I usually find excellent deals there that beat wholesale prices.

The mirror controls look very different between the door module and hard wired trucks. If you have any doubts, post a pic of your drivers side window switches.
