The black Tenneco's are not bad.  If you had Rancho's,  you would've hated the factory ride guaranteed.  Either way, Bilstein's are a necessary upgrade!

Edit Updated +1 day:  After driving for about 15 miles now, the comparison to stock is a huge improvement in ride over any condition.  I am surprised that its not just how much better speed bumps feel (which is night and day different), its even freeway driving and smooth dips at 70mph where stock felt like you rebound too high/fast and loose adherence to the road, and now its more controlled.  I can't wait see what the difference feels like on bumpy dirt roads where I would be tossed around before.

Results sound similar to the 5100 over the lackluster factory Rancho.

Man those 6112's are beefy. Too bad they do not make a rear as well.

I have the the Max Tow package and I think the ride is terrible. Any disruption to the road surface becomes a much bigger deal than it should be on a truck this new. Speed bumps are just plain ridiculous.

I"m hoping to pull the coin together to order the 6112s soon.

I'm interested in hearing from people coming from 5100s. I'd like a slightly more supple ride than my 5100s at 1.2" lift

I remember battleborn or someone saying they both have the same valving its just a reservoir that creates less fatigue er something to that effect.

One of the first things I noticed with my Bilsteins is how dramatically improved driving over speed-bumps became.  You have to try this when you're testing them out.  The truck is unfazed by them it's amazing

I've been doing a ton of research and was going to go with the Bilstein 5100 and upgrade the UCA's to a tubular design. I have the stamped steel design. Looking at Cognito and Readylift UCA's

The more I research, the more I change my mind. I'm becoming real interested in The Eibach Pro Truck Lift System (Stage 1) kit consisting of lift springs and front and rear Pro Truck Sport Shocks.

Would love to hear feedback on Eibach Lift system with Coils vs Bilstein 5100. Possibly some of you considered before going with Bilstein?   I have the Z60 sport suspension thats about an inch lower up front and 2 inches lower in back, than I believe the Z71 suspension. I'm sitting at 36 3/4" up front and 39 1/4 " in the rear. Ride quality is super important to me. Live in the NE and roads are narrow and twisty. Truck is a street queen and I'm pretty happy with how it handles. Looking to change the stance and increase wheel size. Nothing crazy. Looking at 275/60/20.
