GM is now having owners come in for an oil change after the first 500 miles.

Nobody told me that.

.... I don't think its a major issue, but if I remember correctly GM is now having owners come in for an oil change after the first 500 miles.

Gotta quote the whole thing man, making me look bad. And I found this snippet, but pertains only to the 6.2's in the new Corvette's

LOL. You were scaring me there for a second.

There have been numerous LT4 failures. I haven't seen any failures of the truck motors other than EChavez at 19,000 miles on here.

There are two 6.2 failures on here that I've seen. Hopefully just flukes. One of them got a lot of grief about his CAI.

Two questions, where did you get the Sprint Booster and what LED bulbs did you use for the fog lights? For those of you that have not used a throttle response mapper, they make a big difference in driveability! We put one in our 2011 Camaro SS, and it was awesome! Can't wait to put one of these in my truck as I don't want to screw up my warranty either. Thanks!

You don't have to worry about your warranty. There are laws out there that protect you from a dealer denying a warranty claim. It's called the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act or something like that. They will have to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that your aftermarket product caused the warranty issue. I've been running a tune on mine for over 2 years and I don't even reset to factory when I take it in. They have never said one word to me.

Oh, I'm familiar with the Magnuson-Moss Act. The problem is having to pay an attorney, missing work for court, etc. to fight a dealership that that want to cover your warranty claim based on the modifications. You apparently have a dealer that chooses to not contest it. Many of us don't. I may do a tuner anyway and take the risk, but anyone that believes a dealer WON'T try to deny your warranty claim based on this act is fooling themselves.

In case anyone is interested, I'm selling my sprint booster. Unfortunately due to my wife losing her employmemt, we have had to trade my truck for a more affordable vehicle. :( Anyway, I have it listed on ebay and it's half price of new.

Thanks. Yeah it sucks, but I'll get another one hopefully one of these days when things get back going again. Maybe we'll get a new president that will be more helpful.

I'm assuming the computer can figure out that there is a new throttle advancement? Does it affect shifting patterns? I'm loving my truck so far (3200 mi). I do find that slightly bogged down feeling when you stand on it to be annoying. the booster whipes that feeling away? I've installed Magnaflow exhaust and Kn drop in and was looking to tune it next, but to chance voiding any warranty to gain only 13-20 Hp worries me. Something to think about.

didnt know about this product maybe il have to try it. 300 is kind of seep for something that just fools the signal. whatever i cant stand the way these shift. my 1961 apache shifts firmer than this. harley engineers must have programmed my tranny.
