Anyone running the Hellwig?

Helper bags?

I have been looking at the Air Lift 2000 for a couple of reasons.

1. Can be used on my lifted Sierra without need for a space.

2. Supposed to ride better than the Firestones. I have had a few sets of those and they do ride stiffer.

I just put a set of Firestone Ride-Rite air bags on mine, but I did it at the same time I installed Bilstein 5100 shocks.  I would say the ride is slightly more firm, but much much more controlled.  I think the firmness is more so the Bilsteins than the air bags.  Youre only supposed to leave 5-10 psi in them when not loaded.

I had the mcg helper bags on my truck    no drilling at all  just bolt on

I have a set of the Hellwig bags. I like them, but had to take them off when I put on my lift. I’m debating on either getting the spacer for them or just selling.
