Detailed truck and replaced factory splash shield with a CST aluminum skid plate. Picked up the skid plate locally for $100, can’t beat that.

.. added e-track bracket to tailgate so I have somewhere to strap/tie down to when carrying loads longer than the bed (eg. lumber).. installed a couple threaded inserts and bolted it on.. now I can just pop the straps in when I need a tie down point

I have the GM metal/aluminum that I need to get on, what/where did the two "braces" come from? The CST looks really good!!!

Thanks! I’m happy with the way it turned out and was super easy to install. The two braces were underneath the plastic guard. I had to take them off for the new skid plate to fit flush and for the bolts to line up.
