Seems like a joke, but the author of this article actually contacted Chevrolet and they knew about it

The pictures are credit to the author at Jalopnik, part of the reason why they look so bad

All it is, is a LTZ.ordered through Costco's auto sales that comes with all the GM accessories for cheaper than you will buy at the dealer

If I was a dealer I might start getting worried about my future, maybe not today or tomorrow but someday. As I see the conventional ways of selling cars might be coming to an end 5-10-15 years from now. With the advent of the internet and some other things, business are going to find out if they already havent is somebody like GM can start selling my product online and to places like Costco, cutting out a middle man that demands more money, all the while savings the customer money and making more money on the sale. Not that dealers are all good, but one CON is buying like this cuts out customer service and the touch and feel before purchasing.

I agree. With my 2014 I did most of the leg work finding my truck at another dealer. My local dealer kept trying to talk me into a truck on his lot and one that I did not want! More and more dealers are realizing that customers shop around on the internet and don't just believe what some salesman tells them. As I have said many times on this website, don't be loyal to one dealer, you are buying the truck or car, not them. Currently with my 2014 GMC, I bought at one dealer but go for service and warranty at another.

I can take a cab to costco and walk out with a truck to drive my bulk buy groceries home in

I used my Costco membership when I purchased my Denali back in December. Paid GMS pricing less 2000 GM rebate and got a $600 Costco gift card.

Damn, you beat me to posting the article! I want it to come with a complementary bottle of Kirkland Vodka in the center console.

I havent bought from the same dealer twice. I buy new every 2-4 years. So I keep the warranty and warranty work is warranty work. I know some guys swear by a dealer and Im sure some do well by it, but Im also sure that many are drinking the kool aid that those dealers feed them as well.

If Walmart can have a Silverado, I guess Costco can too.

My experience buying a truck this go round has me hoping this happens much sooner rather than later. I finally decided to quit playing the dealers games, and will only deal with dealers who are willing to do it how I want to, not force me to play it their way. Too bad, as one local dealer has the truck I want on the lot, the pricing he initially gave me for another truck I was first interested in was very aggressive, and for a similar discount on this one, I would have bought it last weekend, but the endless games they want to play has me looking to drive 3+ hours away to buy.

Looks like an appearance package.

Kinda cool I guess. Just another way to sell cars
