If you disconnect battery with out a setting saver can be bad I changed out top dash pad 2010 GMC Sierra had batter disconnected for several days had to take air bag out ext climate control only blew air on floor and defrost but there is a trick turn climate control off disconnect battery for 5 minutes then reconnect start vehicle it will reset with out taking to dealer

Anyone see any changes/surges in lighting when at idle and moving the steering wheel? It seems like my lighting dims. I notice it when I'm backing up in the driveway. I didn't know if this was common (because of an electric power steering) or maybe a future alternator problem?
