Why MLB MVP Trout Picked Silverado Midnight Edition Over Camaro

MLB All-star MVP Mike Trout was given his choice between a Chevy Camaro Convertible or a Silverado Midnight Edition. He chose the truck. Now if you don't follow baseball you may think Trout chose the wrong vehicle. However, if you do follow baseball you know he took home a Chevrolet Corvette following last year's game. So his fleet is now well balanced.

 

Chevy's U.S. vice president, Brian Sweeney, presented the truck to Trout saying “Mike’s on-field performance was All-Star caliber and worthy of one of Chevrolet’s All-Stars. Chevrolet also encourages future All-Stars through our more than 1,500 dealers who support Chevy Youth Baseball.”

 

Chevrolet has been the Official Vehicle of Major League Baseball^® since 2005. Until recently, GM also sponsored the National Football League, but has passed that along to Hyundai.

Being an Angels fan, Trout's my son's favorite baseball player. According to my son, Trout picked the wrong vehicle. My son is also a Camaro fan, he is about to buy the Camaro SS 1LE package. He has a Camaro now, so I think Trout is running a close second.

Spoken like a person who has never drove one. I'm on my 4th. My daughter drives the first one now 10 year old car still looks new. Wife drives a Geneses, I drive the Santa Fe. I suggest you look up the spec sheets before you laugh. They are praised in the auto mags as one of the best. I must admit if my gmc dealer didn't sell them I wouldn't have giving them a second look . Glad I did. Before we get in the U.S. Verses imports consider, the most American built vehicle is the tundra. Crack up[emoji33]

Oh no, I've driven a few of them, and every single one has been a joke, in fact my mother owns a Santa Fe. Let's see.. to date I have driven a 13 Sonata.. (rental) ugly, rattle trap, crappy fuel economy, noisy.. cramped interior

14 Genesis 8 cylinder- Fast but not impressivly fast- noisy- rattle trap- cramped interior very uncomfortable seats, crappy A/C

2010 Tuscan- (rental) ugly, rattle trap, crappy fuel economy, noisy, cramped interior, had to be towed in and me given a replacement when the check engine light started flashing and started to misfire...

and then there is mom's 08 Santa Fe- well lets see.. ugly, gutless, (2.7L V6) cramped interrior, crappy fuel economy, NOISY..

 

See a pattern here with all of them? THEY SUCK. My opinion though And many more.

 

As far as I am concerned, they are no better than a Yugo and are the laughing stock of UGLY.
