DFW Exhaust Shop Recommendations

I'm looking for recommendations for an exhaust shop in the Dallas Fort Worth area that does custom exhaust work. I normally go to Kinney's Muffler Shop but they seem to have really gone up in price. They did my true dual system on my 2014 for $750. Called today to get a price on my 2015 and now they want $1,100. Any one have some recommendations or pictures of work done from other shops in the DFW area?

You know they do quality work , drive to the shop and see if will negotiate a price. Would want a top quality system installed on a Denali, that's a real nice truck!

I ended up having Kinney's muffler shop do the work and I'm pretty impressed. It was more then what I was wanting to spend but it turned out really nice. He took some pictures and video and will be uploading it to his website soon. I went with a Flowmaster this time and it sounds great.

Just out of curiosity, why is it so high? Do they mandrel bend? I understand paying for quality but $500-600 would be high around the Tulsa area.

 

From what little I can see, they did a nice job tucking the tips.

Kenney's does true dual systems that are fantastic... if i lived down there they would have done mine as well. Yes the do their own bending.

I would have asked up front why the different pricing and no it's not mandrel bent pipe.

I do think that I paid a premium. After seeing the finish product though I'm much more comfortable about the price I paid verses some of the work that I've seen done. I just didn't want to leave my new Denali in the hands of someone that I didn't trust. After calling other shops and many seemed either inexperienced in the area or didn't want to do a true dual system.

The shop I wanted to install exhaust on my truck is closed Sat - Mon so went to another 40 miles away. Had a chance to go by there 2:00 this afternoon to see about weld on tips. Pulled into parking lot and was closed, sign on door said due to shoulder surgery closed Aug 27 - Sept 8 . Guess it just wasn't ment to be LOL. Bet that Denali now sounds as good as it looks
