To avoid being too sappy I will keep the writing here short. The video tells the tale. Make-A-Wish wanted to make a teen with cancer's life-long dream come true. What did he wish for? A restored Chevy truck. The sick teen named Jacob says he is "into older trucks." He had been checking out one in a neighbor's yard that was for sale.

When the truck was revealed, Jacob said, "It gorgeous, from the inside to the outside." The truck is a 1977 Chevrolet Scottsdale C10, and anybody can appreciate the restoration work that went into the truck. That was part of the surprise. It was for sale in rough condition. Jacob's step-dad helped the process get started. He's a Dodge guy, which proves not all Dodge truck guys are bad. :)

That's really cool.

I had to smile when I saw the oil drip pan underneath the truck ......... I had a '76 K5 Cheyenne Blazer that I always had to have a pan under as well.

Its things like this that make me feel good that there are still good people in this world that do this type of things for other people. Helping the sick is #1. There is nothing more better then making a person smile with a disease or sickness that they have no control over and not there fault. My hat is off for the people that made this come true.

Typing twice again, the complex login.

must be very confusing, for the site owners.

I was just watching an international version of make-a-wish.

A boy, related to cars. Must be a popular subject.

Glad a dream came true.
