Light Bar Shim/bracket?

Good morning. I just installed a light bar yesterday; last night when I tested it, I found that it lights the trees up like daylight...unfortunately, it doesn't really do much for the road in front of me.

I have the brackets adjusted as far as I can, so short of adjusting my bumper (this bumper is designed for a light bar) I am needing some advice...so I am looking for a shim or some sort of a bracket that I can use for a shim to prop the back up, to point the light down.

Any suggestions?

(btw, I will update the install pics once I get all this figured out...process was much more smooth than I anticipated, outside of the direction that the light points! HAHA!)

I had an issue with my cubes. But they would hit my bull bar. So I just added washers until the light was high enough to aim appropriately.

I'm your case. Have you adjusted the suspension? I think the bracket might need some persuasive influence.

Is it a spot pattern lightbar? Those don't throw light very far, and what they do throw on the road is washed out by your headlights. The rest you see lighting up the sky.

it has spot in the middle and flood on the outside...I can literally see where it is spotting when I am driving through my neighborhood that has a lot of trees...believe me, it is pointing upward...

This is why I have my LED pods behind my grill too... Sure, they can still be stolen, but it'll be more of a PITA for someone and usually they want a quick grab n' go. It's a sad world we live in sometimes...

can you take some pics under your truck? looks like you point way down with that bracket

i can take some this evening...that picture angle of the bracket isnt the greatest (its just a stock photo)...i am going to have to disassemble it and see if there is anyway i can bend it or get it coerced somehow...if i just had a way to put a small bracket under the back portion of the brace, i think it would work...

As said earlier. A few washers or a spacer that you can get from home depot would pitch the top of the bar forward. You will probably need a longer bolt.
