I read that you opened the dash to install the 3usb charging system.  How difficult was that?  You must have some expertise with these type of installs as tapping into the existing systems, scare me a bit, lol.

Nope. 

 

I do this once every 4 years with a new truck.  It literally takes 10 minutes to take the whole thing apart and have it laid out to work on. 

 

7 8mm screws and a whole lot of body clips to pop loose.  Way too many in my opinion.  

 

The toughest part is getting that bottom trim piece off.  For a piece of plastic that small it had 5 body clips on it.  It doesn't need that many to hold it in.  I removed the center body clip when I reinstalled it to make it easier to remove later on.

Well...traded the '14 in, which was a GREAT truck.  I never experienced the new model year issues that others had with that body style...

But there are things the T1 body has that you cannot mod into those trucks (interior cab size, AC vents, etc)

So, here you go:

2019 RST CC Std bed Z71 with convenience pkg II.  Good mix of options.

Just a heads up I've got a red trail boss lt as well and you can get the "Silverado" and "LT" nameplates in black too from the chevy accessory website.  Check it out.
