Mines not leaking yet that I’ve seen but I did find a crack in the window frame yesterday?  Will GM replace it just due to a cracked window frame?

Pssshhhh no. They don’t even replace them when they are cracked and leaking.

Finally took mine in to get leak fixed.  Mine was only a small leak and didn’t do it all the time.  They did the TSB caulking work and did a neat job, no globs, smears or scratches.  I spoke to service mgr and they looked but found no cracks in frame.   He said  The  spoiler was not sealed correctly and was leaking.  So far it is dry after testing at home.  Time will tell if it works.

Picked up my truck last night.  Everything looks good, body shop did a great job, and believe me I inspected it... They said they replaced the rear window but also discovered a leak in the front A-pillar where the sunroof drain wasn’t properly connected. Also noticed the carpet and padding was wet so they replaced that and all the carpeting. I guess I should say thank you that they actually took the time to inspect everything and replace what needed to be but REALLY.... Why do we spend $60k and buy brand new trucks? It’s supposed to rain for the next couple days so I guess we’ll see. Fingers crossed...  Btw, the service rep was very apologetic and felt really bad, even though none of it was HIS fault. Nonetheless he gave me the next 4 oil change/tire rotations for free. A nice gesture...

Good News!  Glad to see they took care of you and your vehicle.  Interesting about the sunroof, as now that is another thing to check.
Here’s hoping it stays fixed

For those of you having good luck with your dealers, would you mind posting what dealership you had your work done at? I think it would be helpful for anyone who comes along and lives by one of those to save some time and headache.

I wish I would have had a satisfactory experience in all of this.

Bridgewater Chevrolet in Bridgewater NJ tried the caulk repair once, did a decent job but didn't work, they called GM and got a new window approved for 2nd. appointment, window replaced and no leaks since. They sent it out to a glass shop to replace the window as a FYI.

Ingersoll Auto of Danbury CT.  Salesman was Dave B.  And service was Don.  Great place and great guys.   Would HIGHLY recommend.

Oh yeah, they changed my mirror caps from the chrome to the black (I had asked about in one of the other posts) much better now...?

I had my first repair (caulk as per TSB) done at Bennett Chevrolet in Egg Harbor Township NJ.  They did a good job and returned truck detailed.   It was just done Monday And it is good so far, but time will tell.

I posted about a week or so ago that I didn’t have time to read all the pages of this thread.  While I still haven’t read them all I have been through about 50 of them and that’s enough.

I am having second thoughts about buying one of these trucks.  All the dealers near me are in lockdown so I have time to think about it.   The idea of spending this much money for something with a known problem like this seems like a bad idea.

I don’t drive in the rain much and the truck would be kept in a garage.  I am handy and wouldn’t have any trouble doing the Permatex fix, so I may wind up pulling the trigger.   I have looked at all the trucks out there and like the Denali the best.  I have mixed emotions about finding this thread.

Not to deter you as I’m sure many people are happy with their trucks, but my Denali is the worst vehicle I have ever owned. Transmission promblems, leaking rear window, and every interior panel rattles already with only 1300 miles on it. The fit and finish and overalll build quality is horrible imo. Hoping I can get the issues sorted out but if not will be getting something else in the near future.

Had  my 19 Denali window caulked at Goldstein GMC Albany NY back in early December. They did a very neat job. No goop anywhere, no stains, no scratches. Could not even tell they did anything except the sealant smell that faded after a couple weeks. Many heavy rains and carwashes since then and no leaks.
