Hey there i am having an issue with my brand new 2020, I installed my new snowmobile deck and connected it through the camper connectors built into the bed using the 4 pin connector and i have tried a 7 pin adapter too. The LED lights on my snowmobile deck turn off and the DIC says trailer disconnected when i press the brake and or use my turn signal. Functionality is restored once i remove my foot from brake or turn my signal off. I need to be towing a real trailer 14000lb and i cant now with my new shiny truck. Frustrating to say the least. I traded in my 2012 and it handled the snowmobile deck just fine with full functionality 2 days ago. PLEASE HELP.

Buddy had this same issue.. not enough power being drawn from the led lights to make the system work properly. He ended up having to buy one of these and it works fine now

I had the same issue with my 2020 3500HD denali I got this plug on amazon and wired into the taillight as the 7pin with resistors made the truck think I had a trailer on and would disable backup sensors and always show the camera side view when signaling.

My '17 Ford did the same thing. It would say service trailer or something similar.

The fix was the trailer plug for cars/trucks with LED lights

Depending on your sled deck... I run a Marlon Xplore Pro with the rear Blade light bar built in.

I had the same issue with mine and had to order a Putco light bar adapter to get it to function properly. I got the recommendation on here for it and was skeptical, but it worked awesome!
