Finally got mine all together and installed.  I used the misc. ignition fuse because I wanted them on whenever the truck was running.  Anybody see issues with using that fuse position?

Thanks for sharing method and pics on mounting method TXguy.

How bright are they? I was looking at images in Amazon from the seller and they looked too bright. What do you think?

These are the ones I used.  Different than the OP.  I think they are about right for brightness.  Hard to photograph at night but in person, they are separate and distinct but come no where near headlight bright.  Q&A list them as 110 lumens and 9 watts.  In the daylight, not all that visible at all.

I ended up using fuse 42 to tap off of, right parking lights vs left, because the fuse tap I used had clearance there. I included a pic of the fuse tap I used and the lights I installed.

I bought the same fuse tap.  Does it matter which side the wire comes out of the tap?   I saw a video where these taps have to go in a certain way so that it will work properly (the prong opposite of the wire must be plugged into the constant female in the fuse box). I don’t have the tool to check that.  How did you plug yours in...with the fuse tap inserted, is the wire exiting the fuse tap pointing toward the drivers side?

Here is a couple of photos. I bolted between the horizontal supports in the grill. The 1/4” bolts fit perfect with fender washers.

Ordering the fuse tap online. Has options for mini fuse, small fuse, standard. Which one do I pick for a 2020 silverado?
