Fitting 22” Wheels in 2021 Silverado

Was wondering if anyone else is having issues with upgrading their OEM wheels?ive got a 2021 LT 2WD with 20” tires and wheels and wanted to change over to the High Country wheels. 
 

keep hearing that they won’t fit? Anyone else aware of this issue? Something to do with the brake calipers or wheel liners???

They'll fit.  As long as it's a wheel for 2019 up.  2018 wheels don't work because of the larger 4 piston calipers on the '19. Here's my 22" wheels on my 2019 RST.

Any wheels from a new body to new body fit.  So 2019-2021 High Country wheels would fit literally any other 2019+up T1 1/2 ton.  

 

Its taking wheels from a 2014-2018 truck and trying to put them on a 2019+up where the problem lies.  Those wheels don't clear the front calipers.

Well I’m definitely confused shinty is now because the dealer is telling me the opposite of that. For example - I have a 2021 Crew carb LT 2wd and they are telling me that the factory wheels off a high court will not fit on my truck. That they’ll rub on turns???

BS... they don't know what they're talking about.  Nothing to be confused about.  They'll fit.  Be sure the tires are OEM size 275/50/22 . A 305/45/22 may rub but still doubt they would.

It's possible they could rub on the 2wd model since the front does not have as much clearance as the front on a 4wd.

 

To check, just go to the Chevy website and see if it lets you build a 2wd with 22" wheels. Or search inventory for a 2wd w/22's.

Nope.  I have a 2wd, High Country's come in 2wd and many friends have put 22's on 2wd's and no rubs.  There's a thread on here of many members with 2wd's that put 22's.

I put 2019 Denali 22's on  my 2020 RST that came with 20's no rub no issue.

Just make sure the offset is below +29. 
 

2018 and down will fit with a 3mm or 5mm spacer. You will not rub on 285/45. I have a 2wd 2020 and have no issues.

It's not just the offset but the angle of the spokes.  I wouldn't run a 285/45/22.  That's OEM for 2018 down and too short for the '19 up.  A 275/50/22 with a '19 up High Country wheel will not rub. Period.

I’m sure the angle of the spokes is more important than the offset . 
 

From a stock 20 to a stock 22 tire, there is still some height difference, all I am saying is, you will not rub on a 285/45. Also, you will not rub on a 275/50/22 as it is stock for a 19/21 Sierra, better?

I am running 305/45/22 On my high country. 22x10 wheels.
