Price? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2

From post above...Yes. We're selling it right now. $199.

I'd spend a few extra Ben's and get a tune. Improves drivability and a host of other changes.

Any idea if this will help/stop the cold start tick that is common on AFM engines since it disables AFM?

Won't do anything for piston slap on cold start.

It wouldn't because AFM is never active at idle.

Does happen to reduce the torque management? Sent from my DROID2 using Xparent Green Tapatalk 2

This only disables the AFM. It does nothing to tune the transmission.

Sooooooo, it is "plug and pray" ?

In what way?

Disabling AFM is pretty common and proven not to pose any hazards.

Yes I agree totally, when it is done through a "tuning" mechanism or on the "dyno". I am leary of devices that "plug in" inline between anything on the vehicles electronics.

Now if we only had a "Disable TM" module. Price seems high to me. A little more will get you an in person Black Bear tune.

The superchips 2865 tuner gets you the disable afm and increases transmission line pressure. It also has 3 other tunes as well. They can be had on ebay for around 200 used.

The real advantage that the Range offers is that it leaves not tell tale "footprint" that could void your warranty.

Now will this one be tested for us on Project Sierra?
