2014+ owners having issues with their truck?

Well I took my 2014 Silverado LTZ to the dealer for my 14008 safety recall, and service update bulletin 13318 rear sliding window regulator replacement. They made the repairs. I then questioned them about my radio knobs and heater knob not lighting. They had a tec look at it and after taking me onto the lot to show me that none of the trucks lights worked either, we went to a new silverado just off the delivery truck. To his " surprise " they lit up. After another hour more of work, he said they will order new parts to repair the problem. So we will see what happens.

Exactly what I said to get mine fixed and same response from advisor

I just had my fire recall done yesterday and so far I feel like it's fixed dead pedal too. Much more responsive when you hit the gas. Anyone else notice this?

That may be the brake light relay turning on and off. Its normal. Many cars make the same sound when applying the brake.

Picked up my truck today after almost 2 weeks at the dealer.

1) Reprogrammed for over heating campaign, done

2) Power sliding rear window campaign, done

3) vibration in truck, dealer states this is normal

4) radio control lights faulty, dealer states this is normal

Ok, so vibration in 2014 Silverado's is normal? NO way. This is crazy. I tell the dealer I think it may be the tires (which they already force balanced), and the tell me to visit Goodyear and let them replace the tires if they are indeed defective.. WTF? I have more miles on the loaner than my brand new truck!

Anyone find a fix for slight vibrations?

I did share the part number for the radio lights with the dealer, thanks sams

Replaced all my tires and the vibration is gone..i have 20s w contis..now i have michilins

FYI I have stock Goodyear 18" SR-A's on a Double Cab Z-71 with 3.08 gear. After I get this vibration fixed, I will be replacing with 3.42 gear.

Stopped by the dealer today for them to test out the heated seats that I been having problem with.. When turn on the heated seat switch with back and bottom for both driver and passenger seat. The back is burning hot, but the bottom is dead cold... Truck will be back in Monday for them to reflash the BCM..

Sounds like a combination heated/cooled seat to me.

Just my opinion but i think if your going to go through the trouble changing gears out you would be way more happy with the 373s , the performance of the 373s would be way better then the .5-1mpg better that you may get with the 342s vs 373s.

Not a bad idea. I wasn't sure how much the 373's would effect mileage, and highway driving 75-80 mph or under.

Very little, ive owned an 04 5.3Lwith 410s, 08 5.3Lwith 373, 2011 with 373 6.2L and they all got within 1mpg of each other. Now have 2014 6.2L 373 and so far is around 1-2mpg better then my last 6.2. I got 19-21 with all the old ones at 62 mph and 17-17.5 at 78mph. Hope this helps

Issue #1: Heated seat (driver side) works sometimes, and then it doesnt get very warm when it does work. Dealer working on that issue.

Issue #2: This one concerns me, the 4WD quit working on me in the middle of a snow dump. Daughter was riding with me, told me she thought we were having "issues", sure enough, the "Service 4WD" was up on the DIC. Stopped the truck, restarted it, only light on the drive selector that stayed lit was the "auto", but it wasn't in any type of 4WD, almost caused me to have an accident when I stareted up a hill. Called On-Star, put me in touch with Chevrolet Roadside Assistance, wanted to tow it to a dealer where I refused to purchase a vehicle in the past, so I took it to a level parking lot and parked it. I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of this one, I got it back to my house (well, 1/2 way up my driveway), I don't need something laying down on me with 4,500 miles on it that had a sticker of $53,000.
