Did you get any MPG numbers on the 6.2 Denali? Highway vs. City?

I didn't try to get good fuel mileage and saw around 12-14mpg. That said, I was trying to see what it could do, so i'd imagine better numbers could easily be had.

I don't get the obsession with side steps- these trucks sit low enough that even my mom who is probably barely 5' and into her 60s can get in then you guys should be able to as well.

I used them on all of my trucks to protect the sides from rock chips. I'm 6' 3", so height isn't an issue, but I hate having the rear fenders of the truck chipped up after a few years. The front mud flaps can only do so much and the steps are a nice sacrifice to keep the paint looking good.

Zane-Reportedly there will be a few custom color options available for the 14's as there were for 13's. (colors not listed in build specs) do you know anything about this? Where to get more info? My dealer says yes but is slow getting color option info!

Are you referring to the "Government colors" as I like to call them?

Thanks "blue sierra". Dealer finally called and there are a bunch of colors available with one hitch....they hold the order until they have 5 of one color to paint. I was looking for the red on the Cady but that's not one of them.

Zane did you drive a 5.3L,3:73 axle MaxTrailer tow package.

No, sorry.

Was it available

No, they only had 6.2's for us to try at this specific event. They keep the focus very narrow when we do these types of drives. This time it was specifically the 6.2L, High Country, and Denali.

Were these trucks equipted with the 3:73,or 3:42 and did they have the NHT MaxTrailer package. What kind of weight were you towing.

Here's the info sheet on the first truck I drove. As you can see, no indication of the gears. My personal guess would be 3.42 but I can't say for sure.

Do you have a listing of the colors available?
