Front Plastic Air Dam / Skirt / Valance

I was thinking about this upgrade. I knew it would effect the gas mileage some. One of the reasons I bought this truck was for the better gas mileage. Now i gotta decide if it is worth it because it does look a lot better without the air dam.

Took mine off last week and have to say I like it. Haven't noticed a change in fuel millage but then again haven't been tracking it for a few months.

ysatugu3.jpg Just to give you an idea.

That's sharp looking. Between you and Motomedic's pics I think you convinced me. I guess if I ever go on a long road trip out of town I can throw it back on if needed. But since most of my driving is at low speeds around town it won't be as bad.

Oh yeah just do it. Now I will warn you it's like 20 bolts give or take a few. It took me awhile to get around to do it but now that I took it off and the running boards I love the look so much better. Moto is the one than gave me the idea to do it. Now on to the 2" lift that I keep procrastinating doing.

No damn dam. Power Steps down. Way improves clearance and look. I have mine leveled which caused a noted 2 mpg hit. I also have 10 ply E rated tires that were installed ams day and that may be the culprit. I took the dam and side steps (OEM off / power steps installed) off 2 weeks later and barely had an additional 1 mpg hit.

I just can't get a good representation of the Iridium Metallic. It looks black in most of my pictures. It definitely has that look to it though.

Alright decided to do it today. Got pics with and without.

You just went from "tree hugger" to to "Man" haha. Looks 200% better with it gone.

It even gives the impression you have a leveling kit.
