Damn... I should have gotten NV's instead of Mesh.

Sorry about your accident.

Thought i wanted Mesh for a long time until i started going back and forth between machined face and black. I love the black Mesh. I hate the machined face mesh. Dunno why. Ended up taking a liking to the NV and have been set on them ever since.

lol, I was upset. But once I pulled over the guy pulled in behind me and looked at his mirror and said, "I'm ok if your ok with it!"

:nonod:

I looked over to my fender and door and was like, "sorry man. I'm not ok with it. My fender and door are pretty dinged up"

Dude could barely get out of his car, I felt bad and wasn't all that upset then. Shit happens, hopefully his insurance forks up and pays for it quickly.

Just make sure and check out both 17" and 18" version of the NV's. The 17's have a more natural concave face where the spokes actually curve in. The 18"s are flat face and just have a lip around the wheel. They both look great, just depends on what look and tires you want to go with.

Will do i think i'll be fine with the 17s. Hell if 16s would fit i would get those. Cheaper tires is my game :D Plus the 16s my dad has on his 2500hd have really really grown on me. Love all that tire around a small rim.

^Dammit. They're now putting the wheels I just bought on the 2017 GMC's from the factory (Yeah I know the Silverado blackout has them too). At least I didn't buy rock stars or fuel mavericks or...

Okay so gm wanted 700 to adjust my tune for my tires but they have a cheaper option by hypertech they recommend for me at 300 and it will fix my speedo and my tire size I don't jo much about it anyone know more. On this tuner or using it maybe?

Spend that money and buy a Diablo intune tuner. Much more beneficial. You can adjust tore size and also get much better performance over stock.

The Diablo was more money then the hyper and unfortunately I'm not risking voiding my Warrenty at least this way with the tunner I won't void warrenty asked gm already and it will fix my speedo and I can adjust up to 36" tires

Any guys run or know anyone that runs 20x12's on 33's with a 2.5" level? I have some 20x12's that I want to run on my truck with 305/55r20 Terra grapps but I want to get an idea of how much I'll have to trim.

Might need the 3.5 inch lift for that but I could be totally wrong

I ran into a guy on instagram that did it but it was a long time ago. I forgot his IG name. I have a picture of his setup.

I'm sure a 305/50 would work but I want to go 33" if it's possible without hitting metal.

Idk is tough, I'm sure it will rub. I have a 3" level and 20x10 -24 offset on 305-55-20 and it rubbed a little at full lock on the back carpet so I had to cut it and zip tie it back then hammer in some of the metal cus I wanted to make sure it would never touch it and explode my tire.

Test fit them. They rubbed really bad against the rear fender mold/lining. Any pics you can send me of the trimming and work u did?

    • Gotta say the Silverado wins in the exterior looks department, in my opinion.
    • Not sure about DFM tech but i know there's a stop/start deactivation button.
    • I could be interested if they axed cylinder deactivation and at least have a button for stop start. I’m sure the HP numbers will be higher. I would want a longer warranty to help build confidence. I’m a less is more guy as I get older. A V-8 work truck model would be my choice. I know a few outfitters for custom additions I prefer.
    • It's official. GMC pulled the covers off the next-gen 2027 Sierra 1500, and we got the first official look. Full breakdown here: https://www.gm-trucks.com/next-gen-2027-gmc-sierra-1500-v8-trim-changes/   The quick hits: SLE and SLT are dead. The new core retail trim is just called "Elevation". Two new V8s, a 5.7L and a 6.6L built with high-performance Corvette architecture roots. No horsepower or torque numbers yet. The 2.7 TurboMax finally ditches the old gearbox and gets the 10-speed automatic. AT4X moves to larger standard 35-inch tires with front and rear e-lockers, Multimatic DSSV dampers, and heavy-duty Jounce Control Dampers. Over 60 inches of combined display on Denali Ultimate and AT4X, complete with a motorized articulating center screen and an adaptive passenger screen. Seven simplified trims across the entire model line to clean up ordering confusion.   So let's get into it: New 5.7L and 6.6L gas V8s with custom active exhaust tuning and a Corvette connection. Is this the exact engine lineup half-ton traditionalists have been begging for? Purging the iconic SLE and SLT names after all these years to lean entirely on Elevation as the high-volume core. Bold move, or a mistake? That motorized articulating 16.3-inch screen that slides up to reveal a hidden dashboard vault. Awesome mechanical theater, or does it make you nervous about long-term durability? Physically lowering the headlamps in the front fascia to improve road courtesy and stop blinding oncoming traffic. Smart real-world engineering, or does it hurt the truck's aggressive stance? What trim are you putting your name down for on day one? Drop your first impressions below.
    • My overnight hospital stay turned into five.  I developed a post operative fever and an erratic  heart rate.  A blood clot in the lungs was the culprit.  This is apparently a common post surgical complication and easily remedied.   I was the youngest in a four bed ward and a Doctor with a Geriatric specialization was in charge of my care.  All of the nurses were good and some were outstanding at dealing with old people.  It was very evident that my age triggered a different level of care!  My advice to any senior going for a hospital stay is to have a trusted family member advocate visible.  If not, you will still be well cared for, but you may discover that your voice  isn't as strong as it once was!
