Been a little while since you posted this. How you like the set up? No major rubbing?

Yea Im loving it man. Only time it rubs is when I back out of the driveway and its at like halfway turned. Its rubbing on the plastic cap on the cab corner. Its very minor and I dont intend on doing anymore trimming. If i turn it full lock it moves past and doesnt rub.

IronVilkas I'm running 275/65/20 right now and love the extra height, but the Nitto G2s are almost done after 70k miles and I want to go with something wider while keeping the height. The setup you did looks great and is probably the tallest tire you can fit with a level.

I need to change wheels anyway, these came with the truck, 20x8.5 +35, they keep the tire tucked pretty far with the offset.d124cdd4effedcde865209c6575c75b7.jpge0d7d0a709f769317529c38238689c29.jpg

Ya I did alot of digging when I wanted to put this setup together. Its absolutely the biggest you can get on a 2.5 inch level. I think a 3.5 from rough country you may be able to get 35s but thats a theory. The Toyo MTs im running are listed on the website at 34.1 so they are as tall as your current tire but a bit wider. Any ATs in that size are probably gonna be around the 33.8 like you have shown there. Something else to keep in mind is the selection of tires is pretty small in 285/75/17 so your favorite tire may not be available. Other than that I would say go for it if you are looking for a totally new setup.

Luckily I was already looking at the BFG KO2 and that's one of the few offered in that size.
I am also looking at 295/70/17 if I go with a different brand A/T, 33.3 inches tall and 11.6 wide.

I’m running 295/70/17 on a 2.5” coilover level and +0 offset rims, and will be moving up to 285/75/17. Had to trim the plastic fender piece a tad for the 295/70s

Looks great man! Hey, where you been?

Busy Life!  4 sons, 4 daughter-in-laws, 9 grandkids, all live within 3 miles of me.  Plus I've had LOTS of home improvement projects.  Kitchen remodel, trim and interior painting, etc.  Busy life..... :)

20201212_152501.thumb.jpg.f05d3f2835f2df82a142645937320a88.jpgEven though my 305's weren't rubbing I decided to push them out 1.5" with some BORA wheel spacers.  It looks so much better and still no rubbing with 2.25" ReadyLift Level. No cutting of studs because my Factory Repo wheels have deep pockets on the backside between the lug holes.

heres mine. 18 LT with GM's borla performance exhaust dual rear exit. then factory take offs painted white with the 1970's-80's centercaps bolted on. Used the factory lugs off my 18" factory wheels. Fit like a glove. Does have a 2" Zone front leveling kit. When i get a deal i want to put BF KO2's on it but i want to get the rims sandblasted and powder coated first. Gonna be expensive and nothing wrong with these tires right now so ill run em thru the winter.
