That's cool in up for the challenge to make it work if they don't work, but so far I got the turning signals and the dimming in the mirror, no puddle light or any other function since I'm missing the harness for the switch

Hi pgamboa , yes tell me where to send my harnesses to have converted to DL3, I have not the time to do the pin conversion, have both harnesses DL8 & DL3, let me know, Adam.

Ok, so factory I have DL8 mirrors on my 2016 Silverado z71 LT. I purchased some DL3 mirrors (glass only no housing). All I want to do is to be able to use the turn signal function. I'm missing the needed wires for the turn signals. Is this even possible? Where can I get needed wires? Thanks.

HI very good info. I have a question, I purchase the Syppo mirrors and the mirrors has 4 loose wires Outside the connector ( 1-blue. 1-white 1-orange 1- black/white. Do these wires need to be pin into the connector. If so can you please instruct me to where by wire color and connection number. Thanks

Big kudos to pgamboa! Picked up some DL3 mirrors up this weekend from Kijiji (craigslist) for $200 and modified them with his DL3 DIY kit. Rained like hell here this weekend but following his YouTube videos everything disassembled apart nicely with no surprises. My 17' Sierra Elevation SLE is one of a kind around here with power folding, puddle and t signal mirrors

I HAVE the premium mirrors with front and glass blinkers and the courtesy lights will the harness that came with your mirrors you bought work for mine and if so do you have the harness numbers on hand ?

I'll just get to the questionDo you think the dl8 to dl3 mirror upgrade would be possible using this wiring harness from GM?  Wire Harness - GM (23171575) link below.  I know I would need a different switch, but this "replacement" harness should contain the wiring and correct pinning for all the dl3 options that my LT from can support without plugging it into a computer.  Again, I'm knew here so forgive me if this is an old question. I've tried looking through the forums for an answer.

There has been many updates since this thread was made.  I have combined ALL the mirror upgrades to this thread here.  

 

In short, the harness for this upgrade are custom built by me.  They are $285 shipped and come with a $100 refund when you send me your factory harnesses.  That harness part # you posted shows "No power adjust" mirror which are for manual adjust mirrors.
