Anyone start tearing down a 2019 to install sound system?

Yep. No need to add holes to the door when you can mount the tweeters in the dash and get a good sound. The PAC Audio (a.k.a. Best Kits) speaker mount adapters actually come with the adapter mount to put a tweeter in the dash location. https://catalog.pac-audio.com/catalog/installation-accessories/2014-2020-general-motors

I have the same 6x9 to 6.5" adapters.  I like those tweeter adapters.  I do a lot of sheetmetal work so I built mine out of 0.063" aluminum.

I kept the Bose, personally like the Bose! I did however add a stealthbox under rear seat with 2 12in JL’$ and 750hd amp! Luv the sound! [emoji91]

As far as I have seen, most component sets recommend against doing this don't they? I opted to install my tweeters in the dooes then I went with 3.5in JL Audios after having the small memphis direct replacements. Sounds way better now.

There are a lot of articles and forum topics on this subject, so I am not getting into that here.  Just check out a professional audio shop.  Look at their installs on youtube, instagram, etc.... 95% install tweeters in the dash and/or a-pillars for perfect balance.

 

Anything installed will sound better than the stock Bose speakers by far.

Has anyone tried to install the PAC APH-GM02 harness on the New Body style Bose Amp?
I want to try to install amps on my truck and i think that this kit would make a loop harness so that we dont have to cut any cables or harnesses. 
It just doesn’t say its for the New Body Style trucks. But they might still be using the same connector for the Bose amp.

I would like to upgrade my amplifier so I can sum up my channels and adjust speaker levels.  I have a 2019 GMC Sierra with the Bose system I recently upgraded my speakers to Focal Access series, here's what I have Focal Performance 165AS3 and Focal Performance 690AC. This made an enormous difference in sound quality, I placed the mids and tweeters up in the dash I couldn't hide them but that's ok I took the woofers and put them in the rear doors and the 6x9s in the front doors and when I sum up, I'll add tweeters to the rear doors, and I'm not concerned with adding a sub right now I just want six channel control. I have read must of this thread and it's obvious there's diverse opinion on which is the best way to go. I keep going back to LLJ Customs Car Audio Fabrication loop harness with an AudioControl D-6.1200 this harness connects to the tuner before the Bose amp.  So, I would like to get people's opinion on that setup and more importantly the cons of going with it. Thank you.

Ok so I finally got my system mostly done in my '20 Sierra. I went with the Nav-TV unit, a Kenwood 5 ch amp, & the JL Audio stealth box. One problem I have though is that I no longer have door or warning chimes (like for Front Park Assist or Rear Cross Traffic Alert). I still obviously get the visual signals on the driver display and mirrors, but there's no sound like there was prior to installing the Nav-TV unit. I was under the impression that one of the benefits is that it kept the factory chimes as well as balance, fader, & EQ intact. Is there something that was missed in setup? I had a somewhat local shop do the install, but this was their first time using anything from Nav-TV, so I'm wondering if they missed something. Anyone else have this issue?

Strange. So you have no chimes?
All my factory settings and chimes are mirror image to what they were previously.

Check your chime volume in vehicle settings. Mine was turned down to an inaudible volume when I got it back. Not sure if the shop turned it down or it defaulted to that level.
