The wheels are the gloss black wheels that normally come on an elevation.  But I have BFG K02s instead.

Hey all,

I installed the OEM black GMC letters on my AT4 this weekend and thought I would pass this shortcut along.  If you don't mind being a bit destructive and want to take the easy route - just pry the red insert off of the factory emblems and it exposes the retaining clips.  Insert a screw driver and they pop right off.  No grill removal required.  I had one or two tangs that didn't immediately snap back in on the new emblems.  apply a bit of pressure to the grill tab with either your finger or a flat blade screw driver from behind until it clicks.  You are good to go.

Thank you for your help! I just replaced my letters with the black... aside from some issues getting the new clips to “click” it was a rather painless experience! Pretty happy with the results...

BTW the way you did this is the way GMC instructs their techs to do this. I have the official GM instructions and I can scan them and post them here if anyone would like to see them...

Does anyone know where I can find solid black metal or plastic GMC emblems for the grill and tailgate?  Id prefer metal. I don't want the chrome outlining the emblem. I can't find anything and or not sure if it will fit as most are listed as 2015-2019. I have a 2019 AT4.

The link below i'm not sure about?

Thoughts?

I initially attempted the long way of installing these emblems..... I abandoned that mess when I seen this post.  Using this technique is the way to go, makes it a 10 minute job to change out the front GMC emblem.  Thanks for the help!

How do you change out the letters on the tailgate?

They are stuck on.  Heat gun or let it sit in the sun are the usual options.
